Bugs Bunny is the most wise-arse of all.

Am I the only one who is a fan of this trope: Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass?

Just about all these entries have been very obvious badasses, but that's not as awesome or intimidating. The best badasses are the ones that don't visually or emotionally fit the bill. The fact that a fat old man is a vicious fighter that rarely fights is much more intriguing to me, and thus more badass. Someone who only pulls out them being a badass as a last resort is far more badass than a guy who will pull it out on a whim. If they're finally fighting, they're not fricking around and everyone around them is fricked.

Anyone who has an outlook in this way is clearly an alpha, and anyone who always pulls out their muscle when it's not needed is a beta.
