They still make them they just don't get big releases so a lot of people never even here about them. I do agree though that that overall quality of movies is down and has been for some time now.

Obviously there have always been “dry spells”, there was never a time were every week was nothing but great movies but the overall quality is definitely down, it’s been a prolonged “dry spell”
