Took my 8, 11 and 13 year old to see it today. We loved it, had all the Mario music, and a lot of original Super Mario Bros nostalgia. Came home and immediately started playing the original Mario on the Nintendo with the kids, lol.

Me and the wifey went last night and it was a good time.

Bowser and his little wizard (snot sure his name, Dry Bones maybe?) were definitely my favorite part. Them sitting at the piano playing the Bowsers castle music was great. Then when they were doing the pretend wedding and the little guy had on the lipstick. Jack Black was great.

just checked to see about going tonight in BR, and it's rather difficult to find a theatre that has 4 seats together. Perkins Rowe looks like they have almost every single theater playing it tonight.

I kinda wish they made Luigi black. I could boil crawfish with the tears.

You want to take away the only positive role model for Italian kids?

This thing is going to be huge. Also, got an A CinemaScore

‘THE SUPER MARIO BROS. MOVIE’ made $32M in its opening day at the domestic box office.

It is currently tracking for a $160M+ 5-day opening, which would make it the biggest opening ever for a video game adaptation.

Yea I mean I had to go to a late showing because there weren’t two seats together (that weren’t front row) in XD or regular. Didn’t check 3D. That’s on a Wednesday. It’s going to do really well.

There are still 5 year olds that have Mario birthday parties. Combine that with those of us who grew up with it and it's gonna have real legs at the box office.
