Not nearly as creepy as Kleavon Gardner (the serial killer he played in The Shield).

Good question. If killing Gus proves difficult, he could still protect himself if he kills Jesse. And I'm sure he would.

The stupid part is that Walt doesn't want out. He talks about getting out but if he really wanted out he would've quietly accepted Gus' firing him, bought himself some time, and then "disappeared" but he had to open his big mouth.

Walt couldn't simply accept the firing and walk away b/c they will kill Hank. Gus only threatened Walt's family IF he intervened with Hank's fate.

which has already happened thanks to saul

you would think walt would have had him wait to put in the anonymous tip until he was packed and ready to go

that guy is an a-hole that I would smash in the face if I were Walt, it looks at Walt like he is a piece of shite when he is the one that is a piece of shite. Only one way to deal with a a-hole like that!

Sorry guys if I'm late to the party again! IMO Walt needs to man up, the writers this season have basically reduced him to being a pathetic coward, Heisenberg needs to show back up, man up Walt and take out Gus and co.

Walt is not in position to "man up"

He has no hand right now.

it seems like there are only a few options for walt to get out alive.

killing Gus himself- this seems unlikely though cause Gus doesn't trust him and would suspect everything.

getting Mike's help-I don't see this as likely either though cause Gus is probably still loyal to Gus. Gus didn't do anything wrong to him, really.

tell the DEA everything he knows. that would save his family but blow his cover.

or get Jesse's help. this seems the most likely to me. Jesse seems to be forming a relationship with Gus. He could get close enough to kill him. I agree with the earlier post that Jesse could finally poison Gus. just a thought, but is it possible that Jesse and Walt's fighting has been an act- a big scheme to make Gus think he has sucessfully turned them against each other?

the only other option is Walt getting killed, but that won't happen. at least not this season

you always have a hand. He is backed into a corner, and you know what that means, you have to do something other than waiting on them to kill you, he has to step up for the sake of his family and do something. He can tell Hank (which I know won't happen) and just expose them.

you can't just wait on someone that has already threatened to kill your family.

that would be crazy. even though i love this thing that hank and walt have going, that would be a pretty cool way out, mostly because i just really want to see a showdown between hank and walt

What I don't understand is why Walt hasn't left a sealed letter with a lawyer that Gus doesn't know about. In that letter he lays out everything. The lawyer has instructions to mail it to the DEA if Walt disappears or if any of his family members are harmed. Then Walt gives a copy to Gus. This should have been done as soon as the trust between the two was gone. Sure it would piss Gus off even more but I don't see a downside.

As I've been saying since the start of this season

"Hank will kill Gus"

I think Walt will man up and kill a lot of the soldiers Gus has, and right when Gus has the upper hand on Walt, Hank will show up to make his big bust, and kill Gus, as the mysterious Heisenberg gets away.

If I'm not mistaken, after Ted hit the wall oranges fell off of the counter. In the Godfather movies oranges symbolized death. Could it be there were paying tribute to the Godfather in that scene.

This show is ridiculous. I had chills for the last 5 minutes. The pacing is the best I've seen in any television series.
