Amy was legit in Playboy in the mid-90s, so she was already "old" when she first appeared circa 2004. Yes, she was gorgeous.

I've been re-watching the Micronesia season(the one Parvati won) and two things strike me about it.
1. This was a great season. Really great gameplay all season.
2. Man, some of the challenges in the older seasons were brutal. There have been a ton of injuries this season. I think just about everyone has suffered at least a minor injury this season.

That's the one that started out with Jonny Fairplay basically quitting, right?
And from what I remember at least two of the favorites had to leave for injury reasons.

Yep. Penner left for an injury and Chet basically quit because of an injury. He kinda checked out pretty early in the game though. Kathy also quit midway through the season. James had an infected finger, Ami messed up her knee. Parvati got a busted lip, Erik went chest first into a wood platform. Just carnage all season.
Funny also to see bat soup one of the options in the Survivor Auction with what's going on now.

I don't care about spoilers. I know how the season ends, just couldn't remember how it all went down. I knew Ozzy was voted out with an immunity idol, and Jason was the very next one, also with an immunity idol. Had forgotten how much bigger of a role Natalie was in those 2 evictions.
Trying to decide which season to re-watch next. I'll probably finish this one tomorrow morning.

Going into the last episode of Micronesia, I gotta say Parvati might be the most overrated player in Survivor history. She wasn't all that instrumental in the big moves of this season. Natalie, Cirie, and Amanda were. She did play a good social game, and didn't make many enemies, so I guess that's why she won. She's still my favorite though.
Started South Pacific with my daughter last night. The season Coach and Ozzie return and featured Sophie, Brandon Hantz, and Cochran.

I remember Cochran's first season they may a big deal about how he was genius level intellect that did a dissertation at some ivy league school on survivor. Then he got voted out and i thought well you know maybe he wasn't so smart after all
Only to come back again and play a perfect game. I thought well maybe i was wrong in my first assessment.

I'm only two episodes in and I forget exactly when he got the boot, but he started off behind the 8-ball because of his lack of strength and athleticism. I was thinking he went pretty far and he and Sophie had a little bit of a rivalry going on, but that may be wrong.

She got very lucky they switched from a final 3 to a final 2 . Cirie wins otherwise.

This is almost certainly true... except that Jeff had hinted at it being a final 2, so there's a chance that Cirie gets the axe at 4 over Natalie if they don't think there's going to be a final 2.
Or maybe not. Impossible to say what they actually would have done.

I DVR;d the whole season and then cranked through them over the last 3 days. Watching them back to back like that really was a great way to fully immerse in the game and the contestants.
I guess I'm in the minority here in that I hated Tony and wanted Nat to come back and win. Yes, Tony's edit had him looking like a mastermind. How much of that was contrived we'll never know. He was throwing out so many wild plans and theories that any editor could put it together showing him as a Nostradamus.
Yes, Natalie was "protected" in a way out on EoE. But she also suffered and competed her arse off. I really thought she had the right to be in the final three, and to win it all.
My top Survivor girl has always been Amanda Kimmel
And YES, Amber has enough money to get that meteor lopped off her chin
