Look, the episode was effective in getting its point across. I just think it would have been even better had we not had to wait for the big reveal and then had to have the redundancy of the first 20 minutes of this show. It was a cheap trick.

Absolutely agreed. I was pissed after we had gotten two commercial breaks with no deaths.

Not sure if the comparison is right, but I'll say this was their Red Wedding. This is the game changer of the series, everything from here onwards will be completely different. Last night seems to have separated the dedicated fans from the casual ones as well. So much is about to change

This is dead on. I have a lot of people on my FB friend list (surprisingly, lots of women) that are bandwagon show watchers when it comes to TWD. Almost all of them were bitching and complaining last night saying some sort of line was crossed.

The 2 skull bashings didn't phase me too much, but having 3 kids of my own, the Carl arm scene had me on edge and my anxiety was through the roof. My stomach turned. They convinced me it was going to happen and I almost turned away.

My favorite part of the episode was when Negan took off Carl's hat and tossed it on the ground.

I legit lol'd at that too. Carl's growth is just weird now and his voice doesn't match his body. Plus he just sounds like a little bitch. After his slap fight last year I don't know if I can ever take him serious again.

Mrs Charles said, "frick this. I'm out."

It was a rough episode.....

I think there will be more this season too. Hope it won't be some cheesy book-end type of shite where they end the season with Maggie giving birth.

"Open the season with death, and end it with life" or something corny.

I don't know how much longer the supporting cast has.

Tara's character is floating in the water. Eugene does have some know how that could serve a purpose, Sasha and rosita..I don't see both making it to the end of 7, the other Alexandrian..etc.

Wondering if negan will make an example to the people back home. Seems like some would voice unhappiness with the new consequences.

Yeah, can't imagine too many of them will be happy about the new arrangement that only exists because of Rick's group.

They dont even have cgi flies around the corpses anymore. Was in season 1. Had a corpse with rotten tits exposed. Pussies complained to amc. Like the massive alexandria herd..really think there wouldn't have been flies all through the air?

Gee whiz, I thought this was because a lot of the walkers had been dead for a while and were getting more dry and crusty and less oozy. They are starting to look a little more raggedy; or is that my imagination???

I used to frequent a movie message board that had a guy who would do that for multiple films. He'd post twist "predictions" which consistently came true. He got the choice of hiding his predictions with spoiler tags or moving on.

Why did you let TigerRyno follow you to this site?

Its your imagination because you're a fricking idiot. Unless they are skeletons, decaying tissue will attract.

They still have a functioning rotting brain which is more than I can say for you.

Maybe people saying Negan is evil have read the comics and know more than I do, but so far he's been all cold and calculating business. The evil thing to do would have been to kill all of Rick's people, but he chose to kill as few as necessary to convince them to work for him.

He wouldn't go killing people in Alexandria any more than a CEO would fire someone at a local branch. That's Rick's job to get his people in line. Now maybe if Rick is short one week Negan would hurt people to leverage against Rick, but with who Negan has been presented as so far, he doesn't seem like the type to get his hands dirty on a local level.

I haven't read any of the comics.

Judging by what they've shown of Negan and his people since the beginning, Negan seems very calculated and resourceful. He is getting shite done and everyone around him seems to benefit from it. He isn't taking any bullshite or leaving any room for error or plotting against. He broke Rick very quickly. The rest of the season will be Rick building back up the courage to face Negan, but it's going to be long and painful. Negan probably lasts a good 2 seasons at least.

Except he himself was knocking on their gate. Him hurting others is his way of business. Business is good. Him killing a person in their streets accomplishes on instilling fear into everyone else there. Shows them they aren't safe in their own homes or behind their wall. Puts more pressure on Rick to stay in line, and overall would make everyone work harder to not be next. Previews also show him telling the community negan is in charge now..so we'll see.

Saw at least two that said they were done with the show. Bye, Felicias.

They're not going anywhere as fans. Women just have to be overly dramatic about everything.

So Rick, Carl, Carroll, and Daryl are the only ones left from the original group now? Talk about killing off your cast. I omit Morgan bc he wasn't really part of that original group.
