Wife (no pics) and I are looking for a movie to see in the theater over July 4 weekend. Something mindless and entertaining.
Can someone give me positive/negative feedback on the above?
TIA.

I haven’t seen Kindness, but having watched other Yorgos movies, I can’t imagine it would qualify as mindless and entertaining. It’s probably incredibly messed up.
Horizon is good if you like westerns. There is also Bad Boys 4 and A Quiet Place 3. Furiosa if it’s still playing.

Watched over half of it. Walked out eventually
Incredibly messed up. Not a good date movie at all.
The creator is the problem. Actors are very good and not responsible for the bleak, plodding, and depressing products (three short films in one).

Mindless and entertaining I’d go with Bike Riders

Omg please go see kinds of kindness this weekend with your wife, assuming you’re unfamiliar with yorgos work, and report back.

Watched it today. Very weird (I am familiar with Yorgos’ films). Plemmons does the bulk of the heavy lifting but Emma Stone’s performance is the show stealer. First chapter is probably the best, second is probably the most unsettling and third is kind of hard to describe but also a bit unsettling.
