Did S2 conclude well enough? Generally speaking?
No, and the show needed to be canceled. They were just making that dumb shite up as they went along. I had high hopes too.

I know nothing about the show, but this is the worst effect of streaming services. Shows are TV stay on as long as viewership keeps the advertisers around. Streaming services work based on subs. A show can be amazing, with critical acclaim, but if it does not create more subs, they will get cancelled.

The long lay-off really hurt this show. I watched season one with the family and we liked it.
We watched episode 1 of season 2 and none of knew what was going on. We decided to watch someone else rather than have to watch season 1 again.

Totally agree. Liked the first season, but was intrigued with what they looked to be setting up and the universe they were working within.
By the time the second rolled around, I had forgotten everything and it was like completely starting over.
If anyone thought these concepts were interesting (and don't mind subtitles), check out Dark on Netflix, or try From on MGM+ or wherever you get your content.

Enjoyed the first season. The second season was 90% filler. When they finally got to the end it started to get interesting. Seemed like they didn’t know how to get there hence all the filler and slow moving side plots.

2nd season was not very good. Tuned out about 3 episodes in.

Crap.. I'm 2 episodes in and hooked. That prayer in ep.2
Without any big spoilers should I bother finishing s1 and 2 or are we just left hanging after s2?

Tuned into episode 1 of season 2 and was completely lost and told myself to rewatch season 1 before season 2 but guess I don’t have to now if they didn’t really clear anything up. That’s pretty annoying.

Season 1 was legitimately good, you can probably just draw your own conclusions after the season finale because they left it up in the air.
If you progress to season 2, it's worse than 1 and you'll leave with even more questions and now you know it's been cancelled.
What hurt this show is the writers weren't prepared for more as we probably thought. It looked painfully obvious they had no direction for the show. I'm guessing Amazon decided instead of wasting more time for them to maybe come up with an ending, to just go ahead and cancel it now.
I'm disappointed but don't blame them. Just sucks we get something original and it doesn't get a chance to turn it around.

And they were going to take their own damn time getting to it.

Liked season 1 and started watching season 2 but I can’t even remember if I finished it. Guess that says it all.
