It's amazing how quickly the public went from loving season 1 to no one talking about the movie.
Still hoping for a Days of Thunder/F1 sequel as well.

I also have a bad feeling that Robby is kind of a red herring for the suicide stuff and will come out the other side while someone else, maybe Santos, might actually try to commit suicide

That's where I'm at as well. There were hints of Robby doing something early in the season, but I think it's too obvious at this point. I guess we don't know if he's signed a deal for season 3? Could just be an ambiguous ending.
Looks like a lot of fun, I'm so in.

Setting up to be a great year for movies.

A very up and down season for me but delivered on the ending. Eager to see the third and final season, hopefully it’s a short wait time again.
Enjoyed it but leaned a bit too much into the old man shouting at clouds energy.

Eh maybe. But people got tired of Spidey always having help and always seemed to be too ingrained in the MCU instead of just being around sometimes like in the comics and mostly dealing with threats and struggles on his own.

People wanted a more grounded Spidey. Might not have been the best way but this is as close to Tobey’s Spidey, which is way more comic accurate as far as struggling in Peter’s personal life with relationships and finances while juggling being Spider Man. Being Spider Man is all Tobey’s Peter really had going for him and you can say that same thing for Tom’s character now. Character has always been the most intriguing when he’s broke as shite and down on his luck. An underdog

I agree but the path to get to this point has been a bit ridiculous. I enjoy the more grounded and depressed Spidey, Marvel realized they have to circle back to that point but I just have an issue with the actual execution. Honestly, I don't think the Holland films touch Tobey's and maybe not even Garfield's but that's a totally different discussion.

Doctor Strange spell at the end of the last one that had everyone forget him and that he is SM

Which is incredibly stupid. I understand why they did it but it creates such a mess.

You have to blame him though. He just took a substantially big risk that he knew (at least I hope) would have a tremendous ripple effect if he got caught. He hurt himself, his team and his family. Alabama has some of the silliest laws on the book's but most of us understand it's one thing to be caught with a pinch hitter in your car. It's another to be raided under the suspicion that you have a borderline commercial operation of illegal drug sales

This right here.

It doesn't matter what your thoughts on the law are, the point is Holloway decided to not only risk his future playing career but also to hurt the team by selling weed in this day and age. A pound of weed is crazy, it's not like a little joint was found.

This puts a hard cap on Alabama's ceiling in the tournament and once again puts us in the spotlight and of course in a negative light. If Holloway is back next season, he has a lot of growing up to do.

Just finished the new episode, two more to go before the second season is complete. I'm not really enjoying it like season 1, but it'll be interesting to see how they wrap it up.

Gary and his bf, forgot his name, bonded over being lonely in the real world. So much so they got a group of doomsday people together who were also lonely.

The bf even picked the nurse who he was attracted to in hopes of hooking up, I don’t remember another middle aged or attractive enough male in the group. He didn’t expect her to be a lesbian and him being miserable is shown through the flashbacks. Gary latches on Terri and doesn’t want to end up alone again and after being in a bunker for so long, yeah, you go a little crazy.

That’s about where I’m at in regards to season 2. Another episode that doesn’t really move the needle and then boom last few minutes hooks you back in.
Ah, yeah, just what I wanted, let's take Green Lantern and put him in a small town and attempt a knock-off version of True Detective.

Wait, was Cole even in the trailers? That guy is definitely about to get killed off in the first 10 minutes

He'll die before everyone is even seated and it will still get the loudest applause.

I actually enjoyed the first one, for what it was, but introducing a brand new character like that was such a dumb decision.

This is insane, I love it.

I actually enjoyed the first episode with the perspective from outside the bunker. I know some didn't

It was really well done and needed so we can meet the new characters for this season, but after watching all three episodes, my intrigue is definitely more in the bunker and political/thriller subplots going on.

I'm torn on my feelings regarding episode 3. I like the pivot to a more Sci-Fi show, but all of this has pretty much come out of thin air. It can still be done at a high level but it was almost like they didn't have a plan after the first season.
