I think I laughed louder than anyone in the theater at that. Still makes me laugh thinking about it.

Finally saw it and thought it was awesome, don't know how people didn't like it. As of now I have it ranked pretty much at the top of all Apatow movies.

How old does Rosie Perez look? been a long time since White Men Can't Jump.

I saw Stepbrothers on friday and Pineapple Express today (sunday)and I have to say that I enjoyed PE more. Don't get me wrong, Stepbrothers had me laughing my arse off at points but I think that the overall quality and substance was better in PE than in stepbrothers. I felt that stepbrothers dragged on whereas PE was just enough to resolve everything(minus the GF situation) and still leave you with all of the funny parts in mind.
It is hard to say if it is my favorite Apatow movie because I loved 40 Year Old Virgin, but I felt it was way better than Knocked Up and I think it may surpass superbad (I never really got on the superbad train and while I agree it was good, I don't think it is as great as MANY make it out to be) I also agree that James Franco did a fantastic job as Saul, he just portrayed the stoner/druggie perfectly and had me rolling everytime he spoke.
Rogen was ok but the Red and Saul characters stole the show and they deserve credit for being absolutely hilarious. In the end, very hilarious and probably the funniest movie I have seen this year though I haven't seen Forgetting Sarah Marshal.
My take: 4/5
Maybe spoilers who knows:
"You just got hit by a Daewoo Lanso MOTHERfrickER!"

Saw Pineapple Express yesterday afternoon... hilarious movie. It follows a similar gay-lovestory (ala Superbad), but still unbelievably funny. I laughed throughout the entire movie. I think this has been my first 3 movie, no disappointment streak (Wall-E, The Dark Knight, and Pineapple Express)...

Saw this movie this past weekend and loved it. Ranks number 2 on my Apatow list behind Superbad.
The only bad thing about it was the two dudes sitting in front of me. I saw the 9:50 showing at the Grand on Jones Creek. If you were the guy with a blue polo and weird checkered shorts, you have the most annoying laugh I have ever heard in my life. Every time something funny happened he would laugh/scream, say "AWESOME!", then rub his hands together like he was cold or something.

Very unawesome. I wanted to kick this guy in the face.

I honestly can picture him rubbing his hands together after laughing, I've seen people do this and it intrigues me.

I think it's just more of a nervous habit. I know a guy that does it all the time when he gets in a crowd of people.

Not a stoner, thought it was pretty funny. Not as funny as Superbad or FSM to me but still funny.
+1.
the scene where Rogans girlfriend talks about marraige over the pay phone and his reaction was hilarious.

My son and I saw it Saturday. I thought it was hilarious. The dude that played Red was great!

Me and a few friends went to see it on Sunday at the Grand in Lafayette and there was this dude in front of us who had a srange laugh as well. He sounded like a baby seal just yelping away.

I think the Seth Rogen exposure needs to be reeled in. He just cannot carry 2 hours.
I thought it was decent, had some laughs. Some parts were stale. Franco was funny, as was Red. Rosie Perez sucked.
The film needed about 10 minutes off it. The shootout was drawn and stupid.
I did like the rap soundtrack...he put on Shaw "I know I got skillz" to get into character.
