I haven’t seen it and I’ve stayed away from spoilers so I don’t know. My brother in law took his boy last weekend and said it was ok but I wouldn’t like it because it’s for kids.

I don't understand how you so often decide what is good or bad without watching. You do this a lot.

Problem with many movies in current day is that they're retreads, bad sequels or live action remakes of actual POPULAR animated movies.

Is it too much for you to actually afford to go to the movies?

Time more than anything is what I'm not willing to spend on a bad movie. I saw Jurassic World : Rebirth and damn near walked out. Saw a better dinosaur movie (story wise, at least) in Primitive War.

I skipped Superman and Fantastic Four, and rightfully so.

But to give you a quick, short explanation by MauLer of what's so ridiculous with the folks cheering on THIS movie is the shill class of losers who are mocking the original. Because they themselves are so exceedingly out of touch and just don't get it.

It's not R rated, so there's that. But 'for kids' - yeah. PG-13. And it's Disney with an ubiquitous 'baby' something or other there tossed in for good measure. Because of course there is.

PG-13 is a bad sign and all the CGI in the trailers looks really bad. I just don’t know how they’d pull this off, especially since it’s Disney. The imagination runs wild with how bad this could be.

Pg13 only because no red blood. The kill count is very high.

Makes sense.

It's top 3 Predator movies. And better than any Godzilla or Kaiju movie. But fine keep your opinion. Based on YouTube videos. I'll go see it again this weekend in theaters. And enjoy it.

For reference, what’s the best Godzilla movie in your opinion?

When it wins an Oscar, call me.

To be clear, you're NOT talking about the fans of the original, with maxxed out testosterone and brawn, but ARE talking about those calling 'Badlands' queer coded and brimming with She-bossery energy?

So a visual egfects Oscar means its a great movie?

Idk. So many movies that won best Picture I couldn't stand.
Minus One was a good movie. Really the best Godzilla but this movie was better.

And winning an Oscar for effects doesn't mean much. A lot of movies I'm sure you didn't like won effects Oscars.

I saw every Godzilla movie in theaters too since the 1997 stinker. I kind of enjoyed the more recent ones. Though the last one with King Kong was silly.

There’s no way it’s even a Minus one type movie so I’m assuming he means monsterverse movies and that’s fine, I liked some of those which is why I asked.

You know you can be a fan of 1987 Predator and Badlands??

My ranking..

Predator 1987
Predator Badlands
PREY
KILLER OF killers
PREDATORS
Predator 2
Avp
Avp:r
The Predator 2018

I saw EVERY ONE in theaters except 1987. I snuck into Predator 2 after buying tickets to Home Alone. I was 9. I've been a huge fan of this franchise forerver. I had most of the Dark Horse comics. Predator and Alien is my jam.
As a huge fan of the original having watched it twice in the last few months. This was a great sequel. The best sequel we've had.

You also have to take into account that AVP sold more tickets for opening weekend so we’re being oversold on it here which is fine if you like the movie but when it’s accompanied by vitriol and straw men the skepticism creeps in. We see a lot of this with Disney releases.

Trachtenberg has definitely breathed new life into this franchise.

AVP was pg13 and had a huge marketing budget. Ads for it where everywhere. Adjusted for inflation it had a better opening. But this is the better movie.

1987 was poorly reviewed at the time. If you look it up it had tons of 1 and 2 star reviews. It wasnt well recieved until well after the fact.
It's looked upon fondly now. But look up 1987 reviews.

Got it.

What's queer coded about the movie?
Again you have no actual idea. You are again making opinions based on 3rd party videos.
See it or don't.
There are 20 threads on each page. The vast majority i don't post in. Because i didn't see that movie or don't care to. I can't understand why you obsess so much on content you don't watch.

I liked it. Most of my fellow posters here liked it.
The main ones trashing it didn't see it.
If you saw it and had this opinion I would respect it. But i cannot respect your opinion when you haven't seen it yet only want to shite on it because it's popular or had a female co lead..
