Yep. Did anyone think that this episode had more of a movie feel to it than a TV episode? Maybe the lighting was different or something.
There should be no rejoicing at the thought of anything negative happening to Jules. That's just wrong.

Besides, there is no consistency problem with Shawn and Jules v. Lassie and his slampiece because unlike Lassie's slampiece, Shawn doesn't work for the SBPD.

Um, actually he works directly for them...they hire him (and Gus) specifically. He's just not an actual cop for the SBPD.
Also, I saw an interview with Dule Hill and he was saying how he really isn't up on all the 80s pop culture on the show and stuff. He said that's more James Roday's thing, and that Gus loves it, but he (Dule IRL) really doesn't care for it too much. It was disappointing to see.
ETA: As for last night's episode, I liked it. I agree with whomever said it wasn't the best or the funniest episode, but it was just solid. And I'm happy with that.

I'm thinking this show has really just started catching on and they have a bigger budget. It looks like they have upgraded everything: lighting, cameras, sound tech, etc. It also looks like they either had a different director for this episode or someone has been improving their craft.
It was a solid episode, more plot driven than character driven which is why it wasn't as funny IMO. Still good though, and it seems they are wanting to add a more 'Dexter' type suspense with Shawn trying to balance his 'psychic' activities with his 'detective' activities.

Juliet knows he's not a psychic, correct?

She doesn't know. It would seem that will be a leading spot of tension this season. I sometimes wonder how much she and the chief really suspect he is not, though.

Also found out yesterday that Sean and Jules are dating IRL (since 2006). Didn't know that.

Really? Thats great.
What was up with all the product placement last night? They have used it in the past but last night it seemed to be almost over used.
