As with the Wonder Years, you'd have to be a sick, depraved individual not to like this one. It's top 5 of all time for me. The Leap Home I and II are about the best 2 hours ever to be on television.

Loved the brushes with "HISTORY"...

He told Trump to buy real estate.

He taught a young Michael Jackson how to moon walk.

And he had an encounter with Stephan King.

PLUS more...

For some reason I never watched hardly any of Quantum Leap. Don't know why - channels, night it came on, work schedule. Something.

I did love Sliders though. I thought that was a very underrated show.

Great show. Watched it the first time in high school and loved it. About 2 years ago I found it on some random channel like Hallmark.

Were those the last two episodes of the series? I remember the series finale was probably the best ever for a TV series.

Sam made right, what once went wrong...for Al

no. To my memory:

leap home 1: Same leeps into a h.s. version of himself and tries to help members of his family in different ways.

leap home 2: Sam leaps into his brother and tries to save his life. (a fantastic episode)

Close. Part I, you are right (and still only sort of). Part II he leaps into a black dude in his brother's Vietnam unit. The ending of Part II is truly, truly one of the most awesome and crushing blows in entertainment history.

Yeah, it's epic. I wish they go just brush up the effects on this show and re-release it. I would hate to see a reboot.

Has anybody mentioned its themesong?

I still can hum it tune for tune. It really got me fired up when I was a kid and it started.
