In fact, in the original First Blood ending, Rambo dies.

arrow to heads of rebels making inmates run through water to step on mines=win

50 caliber gun slaughter end of movie=win
blowing up WWII era bomb in middle of jungle=win
fooling dogs smell with shirt strip from women that leads to WWII bomb mentioned above=win

stare down with mecenary leader=win
girl gives necklace'bracelet to rambo=win
kills the rebels on gunboat with pistol old western style=win

blowing up gunboat with 50 caliber gun=win

legs, arms, heads, exploding from 50 caliber gun=win

gutting rebel leader=win

SO #4 has more violence, gore, and a sexy woman also so I vote for #4. But if only between 1 & 2 then I pick the original.

First Blood was a rip-off of a Dirk Benedict movie called "Ruckus".
Also had Linda Blair (exorcist girl) in it.
