The wife and son died horribly at the hands of the older son pouring gasoline on them.
The reporter story went nowhere since her editor would not allow the story to go forward since pressure was being put on by the dickhead father.
And Freddie Kruegers family was white trash. They took a bribe to stay quiet and fix up their house.

Repeating info garnered from someone who saw the movie really doesn't count. you make it quite clear you never saw the movie no intended to ever see it, pretend all you like. Unless you sat down and watched it AFTER you made your claims then you sir are shading the truth.

First off I watched the movie right after we began our conversation.
Second. I don't lie. No semantics there. I don't lie.
The movie starts in a dark home. Cox gets up feeds the dog and gets ready to leave. He drives his truck to the store. The lady that works there with him comes out immediately with an ice chest. They shoot the breeze a bit then she tells him to get fishing before the stop biting.
The end of the movie, the reporter wants to know what he thought of the article, which he tore up. He didn't like it because his stubbornness killed 2 kids.
She gives him a puppy.
I watched the movie and all my previous points about the tension and too much being given away are valid.

Learn to read. You really are a moron. I never said I would never watch the movie. Every one of my posts states the same thing. The trailer gave up too much.
Not one of my posts stated that I would never watch the movie. I made a joke with my first post that the trailer was like watching the whole movie, but not once did I state I will never watch the movie. Learn to read.
I made a joke early on and you evidently have trouble understanding simple hyperbole.
