1,2,3,6,4,5

4 & 5 didn't feel like a Rocky movie.

i thought the writing exceeded my expectations in this one. I was surprised at how well Rocky's dialogue was. The only thing i didn't like was the way the fight was filmed. Rocky movies were always known for the loud hitting hard punches, this one was filmed more to look like a real fight, and i thought it took away from something that was a big part of the Rocky series.

Rocky 4 is no more ridiculous than every other Rocky movie. The way Rocky boxes, he wouldn't just have severe brain damage, he would have died before Apollo. (Not that Apollo was light years better at actually protecting himself.)

Rocky was never realistic. And you know what? If a little muscle bound midget stood up to a steroid made man mountain like that in real life during the cold war, I think he could realistically get cheers from the "other side" anyway. Every culture likes a hard fighting underdog.
