i was one of those people. i didn't really even watch the finale. i mean it was on, but i wasn't really paying much attention.

Up to ABC. It was written as a finale, but it is still up in the air as to whether we get another season.

the final scene...w/ J.D. looking into his future....was awesome...even IF you hated this season..no way you can watch that and say it was not done perfect.

I totally agree. After that tell me a better written comedy finale that could make u laugh and have that much emotion all in one episode. The ending was genius

i finally got around to watching the finale the other night (was out on wednesday when it originally aired). i thought it was great. one of the best series/season (?) finales i have seen in a long time. i can't remember any other show that could have me tearing up in one scene and laughing my arse off 20 seconds later. if it is truly the end, it could not have gone out any better.

i thoroughly enjoyed this season
it was a reminder of the way it used to be and MUCH improved over last year
as far as the finale, i thought it was good
the problem with finales are people build them up so high and are just sitting and waiting for the next big moment
as much as i have loved the show since the first episode, i really don't want it to continue
it just wouldn't be the same with no Bob, JD working at another hospital, Turk in an authority position etc etc etc

Kelso was a stretch this season. I wouldn't mind a new season, but only with JD. The show simply does not work without his cornball earnestness.

I really think they will bring it back but I am still skeptical because I just don't know how its going to be. If Bill L stays on as the writer then I am not worried because I would watch a show he writes any day before some of the other crappy television shows on now. ABC said that Scrubs is one of the top shows on with the 18-34 Demo and that's what advertisers pay for!

that might as well be a spinoff, it certinaly isn't scrubs
the series was all about a group of kids coming into their own but being naive and goofy along the way
JD living with Eliot in another city working at a new hospital with turk, carla and cox back at sacred heart while bob was off pulling part time shifts to stay busy just doesn't sound like scrubs to me
doesn't mean it would be bad, just wouldn't be scrubs IMO

i think it could survive without Kelso, but definitely has to have JD, Turk, and Cox to truly be Scrubs, IMO

Intersting news I just seen variety has just said scrubs is almost a guarantee coming back. I just want to see what they have planned because I have no idea what they could come up with for another season. Never count out Bill L he hasn't let us down yet

i read somewhere that the abc fall schedule comes out on may 19th. i guess we'll have an answer as to whether or not the show continues.

Well an article I read stated that ABC wanted to buy new adventures of old christine if CBS cancels the show. Scrubs had better ratings on the finale night than the cbs comedy lineup. So since they beat Christine, maybe they will want to keep Scrubs too.
But once again without JD it simply will not work. Because they will need to shoehorn a new pal for Turk and I am not going to watch that.

With the way thing went this season I would be skeptical of the direction of the show. However I am sure they could still do something pretty good with it.
Yeah Scrubs is by far my favorite show and as much as I would like to see it continue without JD it will never be the same. Zach Braff has alreay stated that he won't be returning so count him out. I also think that Judy Reyes was done as well so count her out. The show wouldn't make it.
I am really hoping they don't bring it back for another season. I would hate to have to see this show raped of everything it was.

I am hoping that Zach could be lured back with cash, but I am not sure the ratings justify a big pile of cash.
Cox, Turk and Janitor all have pilots, so without them Reyes and JD, not much of a show.
Turks Pilot looks terrible so I see him being back. I know nothing about Cox & Jan Itor.
