I watched the roast last night, and some of the jokes were pretty funny.
After reading this, this is the problem that I have in my life when I am being funny. I've had people go off on me for something that I didn't know would affect them. I have a rule myself and a rule friends/acquaintances/others should abide by: if a joke affects you in a negative way, give the funny guy 1 pass, but let them know. If they do it again after you let them know, then you have a right to get mad. Otherwise, just enjoy the humor.

I caught maybe a little less than half of it last night. The last chick that went was the funniest of anybody I saw. She dogged mike Tyson so hard. God she killed him.

This one sux. Ever since Geraldo died the roast have sucked. There were only three comedians on the roast

Sheen and Trump were both weak. Geraldo always tore it up and is truely missed. The one saving grace of the Sheen roast was Mike Tyson and his comments. His roasting of Sheen was not that good.
Snoop Dog has done a great job at a couple. He would have been perfect for this roast.

I thought Patrice's reactions were hilarious. After Amy rattled off 4 jokes in a row about him, he leans over to Seth and says, "I'm sittin' next to this bitch all night; never seen this shite comin"

Why not get like Katt Williams or Artie Lang...more well known comedians to roast? I was just kinda puzzled on the choice of roasters. Who chose them?

While it is my firm opinion that Patrice is much funnier and a better comedian than Katt, it is a fact that Patrice is a better roast comedian.
As far as Artie? Who knows.
If you don't get new blood in there from time to time you don't get gold like Amy Schumer.
