It would just make your inhuman powers manifest. But they did explain that the process of melting down the diviners is what caused the gas to be harmful to humans. That's why I figured they'll just say the harmful part got taken out in the water.

I think it will be along this line. Having a metric shitton of people dying from taking a vitamin supplement could be interesting, but would be a bit... overkill :rimshot:
Plus, then they would have to come up with some explanation as to why the team was so coincidentally not killed nor changed.

So S.H.I.E.L.D. chases all over the globe to save everyone from dangerous people or things and no one thinks to immediately go into the ocean to recover a case of the dangerous rods while they are sitting on top of them??? Was Skye the only one to know that there was a second case of the rods? It seems like May and Lincoln saw the second case when they stayed behind to fight off all the redheads.
