That proves Kate McKinnon is, bar far, the funniest one. My brother sent me this one, which is great if you have elderly parents:

hot take here but I think Youtube has killed SNL

when we were younger we watched SNL like our grandparents and parents watched Ed Sullivan and the like. You got to see the Celebrity host perform and the Band play live. Now with youtube you can watch old clips and new clips of whatever you want from whenever you want forever. But SNL continues on having to create new content in their one network owned space. The misses will be more consistent than the hits no matter how good or bad the cast/writing is.

They are trying to skew younger and hipper with the music, but we can watch the artists we want on youtube/FB/IG whenever we want. Young people are not going to be home on a saturday night to watch this anyway. If they do watch it, it will be later on youtube

Couple all of this with the wokarista cast and the SJW propaganda and who is this show actually for?

SNL is content. They're no longer making the show for broadcast alone. Almost the entire show is available by skit, the next day. They even use the unused vignettes that do not make it to air as content (this week's Indiana Jones parody).

It's no fluke that they're seeding their cast with online content successes.
