Agree with all that. He tries to come across as the funny guy that is friendly to everybody but he's had some drunken moments where the real Shep comes out and he's an arrogant spoiled sociopath that thinks he's better than everybody and doesn't give a damn about anybody or anything but himself. All the good ol boy laughing and joking doesn't cover the fact that he's a conniving piece of shite

Somehow Austen is the most likable of the guys this season. Shep has been 100% cringe in regards to this mid chick from the Bahamas.
Taylor’s boyfriend seems like a total douchebag.

I think that’s just happenstance. Cringy Shep and Craig becoming the pretentious rich douche of the group has fallen into production’s lap, so the need for them to show Austen continuing to be a dumpster fire of a human is not a priority.

This show is so bad now. Back in like 2019 the cast members were genuinely funny and entertaining, now there isn't an ounce of charisma left on this show. Craig gives off Norman Bates vibes, Shep is somehow "in love" with a relatively average looking mute that adds nothing, they forced JT into the show to cause trouble but it's fake, he has 0.00% chemistry with the black chick but they're pretending to be madly attracted to each other, you can practically see them writing scenes to try and keep the show alive. I used to think Austin was the most boring character on the show but now he's about the only one who doesn't sound like he's reading cue cards

Sadly this is the route most reality shows take. Original cast members get older and fade, producers randomly introduce new energy that never really hits, and eventually you get what we’re watching now.
FWIW, I’ve always thought Craig was mentally off and an entitled, lazy shite. The older he gets the more it’s just weird.

Craig’s always been a liar going way back it’s weird seeing people take his side to me.
Shep and Sienna was poorly written and just didn’t make any sense. Seems like Whitney and his Mom got lazy.

Best part was hearing that all of social media said the same thing I did, the "romance" between JT and Venita was manufactured scripted bullshite. It was clear there was no chemistry or attraction there but the show has been so bad at picking new cast members they're trying writing bad storylines into the show from scratch. They tried to make JT this huge villian but he's not interesting enough to even care enough about to dislike, and Venita is pointless but she's there for obvious reasons. Everybody being shocked at Madison being pregnant as frick just shows that these people go months at a time without even seeing each other. It was so much more fun when it seemed like actual friends getting fricked up every night with some psychos like Thomas and Kathryn added in

I quit this season at some point. Just nothing interesting anymore. I’d be shocked if they try pumping out another season.

You know a reality series has officially died when they start bringing people over from other reality shows to try to manufacture drama. Southern Charm has been slowly dying the last couple of seasons, but I believe now it’s officially dead.
Unless they can bring back TRav and JT, there’s no interest. Austen has always been boring, Craig is just a weird man, and Shep’s schtick has run its course.
They’d be better off going the route of Vanderpump and keeping the theme, but starting from scratch with new people.

Comes back on Wednesday. I guess they didn't want to air a show shot in summer during Christmas.
