re: Spider-Man No Way Home Trailer Rumored To Be Dropping Tonight

I didn’t say it’s box office, I said the hype level. People are foaming at the mouth for this one, look at the millions of trailer views in 12 hours. Mentions on social begging for the trailer the last 2 months. IW/Endgame were on another level obviously with 10 franchises converging into the biggest comic film event ever, but are the only ones comparable.
Confirming the big returns is only going to kick that up a notch. This could easily be the first billion dollar movie since the pandemic and, if not for that, would assuredly be the highest grossing Spider-Man film ever. Still well could be anyway

I think something will be up with doctor strange. Maybe under a spell or that's not him. Just be weird to have yet another fake out from the visiting MCU lead.

It won't be. There's only one person more powerful than him right now on earth that could cause him to do that spell, and she's in a freaking mountain reading a book.

Had it not been for the pandemic this movie might approach the $2 billion mark. You have just general hype for an MCU movie, add onto it being a Spidey movie a character everyone loves, but then you add some major nostalgia to it, with this also being the first MCU movie to deal with multiverse. Yeah the hype for this movie is close to IW/Endgame levels

I wonder if Loki and Wanda fricking with the multiverse had anything to do with it as well. It seems possible that all these events happen at a similar time

Wanda is confirmed as a major part of the Strange film coming out in March, so I think it'll be mentioned in No Way Home but more focused on in Strange's Multiverse of Madness

Speaking of multiverse I think there's a good chance we get our first introduction to a FF member most likely in MoM or Antman 3. Although I kind of want the post credit scene in NWH to be Peter having Johnny as his roomate. Guess Harry Osborne could work too

I’d have to watch it again but it did look like a Dr Strange dressed in black was attacking Peter maybe? I wonder if someone evil dr strange has kidnapped and usurped the Dr Strange we know?
