Spider-Man 2 is probably my favorite superhero film.
CGI is best used when it's enhancing live action, not creating the action from nothing. The human eye will detect bullshite.
Learning as I've gotten older about RAimi's horror background really made me appreciate the emergency room scene after Octavius' experiment goes wrong.
Bruce Campbell cameos
ETA: Also Raimi's trilogy is about Peter Parker dealing with being Spider-Man, just something beautiful about that and his responsibilities

What is it about the aughts CGI that makes it hold up so well? It seems 2001-2005 cgi (LoTR) looks better than stuff that’s from say 10 years or so ago. I guess it’s the mix of good practical effects and cgi. Anyway was throughly entertained by both of these.

An understanding of photography, lighting and using the physical world actually looks better than a software expert can produce. Hell, Blade Runner still looks much better than 90% of all CGI I've seen and AI will be even worse. But, money dictates everything.
