No, she just took the vial and moved the spoon around, she didn't actually do any.

No, She played with it but never did it or drank.

Anybody talk about the Iphone theory yet?

A case can be made that all the characters we see each week are villains. We just like some more than others.
Pretty good episode last night. So much to shake out by the last episode.

I would've loved to see Logan's reaction when Matson said okay product/ bad brand and you're a cover band..

want this more than anything on the show. I just don’t think they’ve shown any real ability on his part. He’s just kind of there when things happen. He’s become a bigger dick but he still lacks confidence when things are really going down. Unless they’re going to tie together a bunch of things that were under our noses the whole time Kaiser Soze style

I’m obviously halfway joking about running the thing but truthfully I think Greg is gonna end up in a very solid position .

There’s three points in season 1 when the writers let on that there’s a little more going on to Greg than he lets on.

1 when he has to walk the tight rope between shiv and Roman after Logan has his stroke. Roman wants the papers allowing Marcia to get more shiv doesn’t. Greg plays his im such an idiot I can’t find it what do I do so sorry which Roman buys instantly

How much of those times since where he’s the no nothing idiot did we just not see the background on?

2. (I caught this on a rewatch) when Tom finds out about cruises he tells greg and then tells shiv. He tells shiv that he thinks he may call a press conference get things in the open get ahead of it etc. shiv doesn’t really add to it. Gerri then confronts Tom about it and says how stupid could you be. He then accuses greg who plays up his im so dumb who would I tell who would believe me etc and then Tom thinks shiv ratted him out.
At the end of the episode Gerri gives greg a “good job keep that stuff coming” thing.

3 last but certainly not least is the incredibly smart move he made by keeping the “save the day” stack of papers at the shred shop for cruise documents. He’s acting goofy the whole time so casually it’s comedy. At the same time Greg is far more scheming than the casual viewer gives him credit for

Greg talking about the quad squad was great.

Greg: You know, keep it in da fam i ly

Shiv: da fuk?

Shiv was actually pretty good in this episode.

Greg wasn’t even on the invite list to Norway (per mattson) but somehow he’s there like a fly on the wall and working his way into things

Watching this episode now: the negotiation scenes are tense as frick

And Mattson is somehow worse of a character than any of the Roy kids

I agree with this, but I think there’s a big difference between “Greg is going to end up with a cushy 6-figure job,” and “Greg is going to end up running what will at that time be the largest media conglomerate in the world.”

Not saying that’s your theory, but some people honestly think that’s going to happen. He’s a cockroach so he’ll find a way to survive and not be poor, but his VIP pass has expired.

Didn't think anything could top the Logan dying episode, but they may have done it with this one. The negotiation scenes were probably the best 10-15 minutes of the entire show so far.

Personally I think he was making that all up, playing her just like he played the boys. The two people she mentioned to him (Karolina and Gerri) weren’t on the kill list, making her think that she has a voice with him. Now she also thinks she has leverage on him. It was wise of her to not say anything about it, but her thinking it’s a nuclear card, only to go public with it and have him and Ebba just be like “WTF” would be the end of her too.

agree 100%
whatever dark secrets Mattson has, he isnt telling Shiv Roy

He sees her being isolated from the Roy brothers, pulls her in close and makes her feel important and uses her insecurity against her brothers for leverage

it was ironic we fully expected Ken to blow up the deal and he just stood there passively and watched Roman do it.

Mattson brings up a great point about ATN (Fox News), it is angry news for angry old people. Where does it go when the angry old people are gone? GenX and Millenials are npt going to be sitting at home watching Fox News in their retirement. So what is the future of ATN (Fox News)?

Roman going off on Mattson was great stuff. I change weekly but now back to Team Roman.

I know there are only a few episodes left, but I feel Greg is up to something.

That was awesome. It was great to see Roman finally go beyond the little meek one liners and just tear into somebody. Especially that arrogant dick
