season 5 finale just played on tnt. it should have ended there this was just perfect. one of the best finales ever

Yep, noticed this earlier in the week. Been waiting a long time, and am now getting ready to gear on up for a season long marathon to hopefully catch up in time for season 8.

7 was better than 6 is all I've heard, and I somehow managed to get through 6, so I figure I kind of can make it through 7 easily enough and owe it to myself to complete that season prior to 8.

agreed. season 7 was absolutly terrible. But season 6 was bad enough to still piss me off. I still think the new writers made Cas weaker than the orginal writer intended at the end of season 5 and i wish season 7 would have been about Cas being godlike instead of having the dumb leviathans ever show up. Going from the end of season 6 to season 7 it really seeem like they just changed their minds on the story.
i checked out the promos for the new season and it does seem like this season could be good.
