What I don't understand is , I thought part of the deal he made with sash a few weeks back included sash giving him the immunity idol back? He should at least asked for it, if sash said no, he would know he was in trouble.

I think the deal was good only for the next TC.

Thousands of people apply for Survivor. 16 get picked and these two quit 3/4 of the way through?

No way they should be part of the jury! Quitters should have no say in who wins. The jury was originally going to be 9 so, make it 7, still an odd number so there would still be a winner.
The current jury members have every right to be pissed, they still wanted to be in the game. Some Past contestants nearly had to be dragged off after injuries. I hate quitters, they should not even be mentioned again.

And Naonka is a ignorant, selfish bitch !She was quitting which meant she would get to eat in the jury house anyway. Yet, she refused to skip the reward to allow the remaining tribe members to have more rice and a tarp.

Jeff Probst was pissed last night. The first time someone ever quit on Survivor, he got mad as hell and pretty much told them to get the hell out. Last night, he was close but showed some restraint, but man he looked pissed.

Very weak to get on the show out of thousands of applicants and quit. One had an immunity idol and the other was a perfect candidate to take to the finale since she's done absolutely nothing to endear herself to the jury.

Is it me, or have the challenges been a bit weaker this year. It seems like they are all obstacle courses. They used to build some really elaborate stuff and the challenges usually played to one person's strengths. Now, it seems like they are all team obstacle courses to equalize things. I sense the Survivor Food Auction coming up.

I thought the Gulliver thing was pretty good. But, what happened to those endurance challenges?

The walking throught the water with weight strapped on yer back. The holding the long poles with weight constantly added (like in Outback).

I remember Probst throwing the torch of the first guy to quit (Osten) i believe in the fire. Basically saying frick it, he quit.

I'm confused on them not having to vote someone out. It seems like that has been inconsistent over the course of the show. Back in Season 2, I thought the rule was established as "every 3 days, at least one person will be leaving -whether by vote, sickness or quitting" - because when that dude burned his hands in the fire and was forced to leave, didn't they not have a tribal council?

But then in some more recent seasons, I seem to recall it being done differently. When that black dude Russell passed out and was forced to quit, didn't they still have a tribal?

Starting with Probst just seemingly having the authority to grant them a half day to think about it? If I had been one of the other 7, I'd be like "frick that, let 'em leave now".

Probst is an Executive Producer now, so he can call the shots on the fly.

This is speculation, but I believe they didn't vote anyone out because Survivor has several endorsement deals that are attached to episodes. They need to have so many episodes in order to fulfill those endorsements. Last nights episode was obviously done by Gulliver's Travels. Next week it might be Pringles, or Pepsi, or Domino's. But they can't eliminate so many people that quickly or they won't be able to hold all of those sponsored challenges.

And yes, the first person who quit, Jeff tossed his torch in the fire pit. I thought he was going to do that last night. If I'm Jeff or the producers, I don't let those bitches take part on the jury.

I knew Clay Jordan for a little while when I lived in Monroe. He was runner up in Thailand. He said they got paid royalties for the amount of episodes that were reshown. So, if they end up on the jury, they get additional episodes. Screw that. Boot them completely.

I can still remember his "we had a 2 year old who did the same kind of whining, so we whupped his arse and put him to bed".

What was he like? Did he enjoy the show? I still can't believe he got totally blanked by a used car porno actor.

Making it to the jury is definitely a huge thing for the contestants in several regards. And I was thinking the same thing about episodes - Burnett must be pissed that they lost one. Will they find a way to make it up?

one thing i didnt understand was, why was all the other players trying to convince them to stay? i would have said, you want me to help you pack your s***? that betters the remaining players odds when folks quit. and i also thought they should have had a vote, and probst should have made them walk on the spot. not later on in the day.

I loved how Naonka's response was something along the lines of "I'm just doing me" or something like that. She basically said I have no human decency and no way to deny it, so I'm just going to rattle off some generic, nonsense comment. It was also funny how they made the clatter noise with the music when she claimed she made it the farthest out of all the African Americans, then they showed a closeup of Sashe.

I agree that they shouldn't be on the jury. This will also be the first time I go check out the videos online of Ponderosa. Should be an interesting view of the jury camp with three pissed off castoffs and two quitters.

Lastly, Naonka may have just won the blonde headed older lady (blanking on the name) the title of survivor. She looks like a hero now.

I wouldn't even mention them again. Like they never existed.

Naonka's ending comments" I don't owe anyone an apology" what a bitch.

Clay was funny as hell, just like he was on the show. I was on the ULM swim team and Clay was training for Survivor All Stars, which ultimately he was not selected for. He's really down to earth and dished out all the stuff that happens that you don't see. He said that the camera guys and Mark Burnett were laughing their asses off at him all the time, for shite he didn't even think was funny, but then it'd end up on TV and it was stuff that was funny.

He also owned a restaurant in Monroe. It was called Jordan's, but really it was just an old Kettle that went out of business and he just rebranded it with his name. Great place after 2:00 am.
