I've always found it interesting how some posters on here automatically assume anyone who doesn't agree with them that they must be the stereotype liberals because it is unfathomable to them that a Republican could possibly have a different opinion. It's almost like they think you must march the party line on every time topic or you're not a real Republican.

I watched all of The Acolyte, which shouldn't be a surprise to anyone who's discussed it. I don't understand the multitude of morons who gave their opinion on the show without watching it. Why would you even care to comment on a show you didn't watch? I get wanting to maybe read some reviews and find out a bit about it before investing time in it, but argueing with people over it is just stupid.
If you want to claim watching youtube reviews makes you informed enough to argue points on the show, then you're a fricking brainless idiot that can't think for himself.

You know what thread you'll never find me in that's on the first page today? Banshee, Big Brother, The Simpsons Quotes, Gangs of London, Fire Country, The Union, The Expanse, Sin City, Magnolia, etc BECAUSE I NEVER frickING WATCHED THOSE SHOWS/MOVIES. If I were to post something there, it would be for merely informational purposes only to see if I should give that show or movie a chance to watch myself.

No. I didn’t watch it. The ghey interview was such a turnoff that I decided I wasn’t going to support it. I don’t care if it was the best SW IP of all time. As long as they are saying stuff like that, I’m not going to watch any of it

I watched it. I thought the lightsabers were cool. I enjoyed the sith dude and thought he was the best of the bunch. The twin girls were awful and the grown up versions were even worse. Her acting chops were just flat and boring with zero emotion. Overall, the show was a D+ for bad pacing, bad story, awful cameos with zero significance(last episode). I'm happy it's not coming back

Watched the entire thing and didn’t see the woke agenda all those who didn’t watch it are claiming.

I think it is a shame shows get canceled so fast without finishing a story and giving more time to character develop.

there are plenty of shows that have decent first seasons but then figure out what the audience likes and doesn’t like and go one to be really solid.

if they went down the road of focusing on The Stranger way more I think season 2 could have been pretty cool.

there is also the issue of Disney spending so much money on every movie and show that everything that isn’t a smash hit is a failure.

But how do you make a low budget star wars show?

I watched the entire season

Why? Because I liked the timeline. It was interesting. They struck oil and fumbled the bag

I figured this POS show would get 2-3 seasons and it would be cannon, so I forced myself to sit through it because of future spinoffs

I’m pissed that I wasted my time, but glad that it will probably get erased from cannon

the first three are absolutely the worst 3 too.

The Star Wars shows are such slow starters it’s insane.

Idk if they just stretch the stories because Disney demands 8 hours but you can’t do that id you’re going to do a weekly release.

I can power through on a binge watch

A New Hope had a budget of $11 million ($57m today adjusted for inflation). That would be low budget today. Maybe they should start thinking about what made Star Wars great instead of focusing on what they want it be. The themes in Star Wars used to be simple—good and evil, religious overtones (force), corruption from unchecked power, etc. Disney doesn’t understand that and instead thinks they can throw money at wannabe Marvel (new Star Wars) and it’ll capture the same feel of the old ones.

I watched it just so that I could enjoy the arguments/youtube diss videos more. It's crazy how serious people take this sh*t. It's just a show.
