Th concept was on paper the was most compelling thing Disney had yet. This should’ve been a show completely about the sith and mannys character as the protagonists. Never underestimate Disneys ability to frick it up though. The twins should’ve been cut from the show entirely. My god they weren’t only bad actors but cringe non stop

Not with that cast and Hedlund saying anything she’s involved in will have heavy queer undertones because she can’t do a story without herself in it

Oh I agree completely. I meant in the most zoomed out sense possible. As soon as theyl got the bright idea to bring in a rape enabler whose never made anything like this scale before it was DOA

I have always loved a strong female lead…when done correctly.

Some of my favorite novels are military or sci-fi with a strong well-written female lead.

The problem is, the overpowered female lead has become a horrendously written trope.

A strong female lead does not imply lack of weakness. As with any well-written character, it requires weakness and overcoming that weakness.

That concept is lost on these writers because a female with weaknesses is apparently an indictment against their worldviews.

that’s one of the more egregious ones I’ve ever seen. I guess kudos for fully committing to the act

Agreed. I was very excited when they first announced they were going to be focusing on this era.

the mental gymnastic is hating a cool fight scene because you don’t like the lead actress.

Why don't they just create their own Network for gays and have all gay shows with gay diverse casts for their gay shows and movies? surely it will be successful!

Because the whole point is to take whats yours, corrupt it, and rub it in your face for the sheer evil satisfaction.

Listen, i’m honest. I’ll tell you episode 3 sucked. I’ll tell you I didnt like the twins and the show should have been completely focused on Sol and Qimir.

No one has to make anything up to dislike the show, yet yall still do because some
of yall can’t admit any of its good.

Literally none of it is good, nobody is making anything up. It should’ve been shelved like Batgirl for the tax write off

I’ve literally admitted using the words good about very very limited things in the show. Multiple times. And I know you read it. So why are you lying? What purpose does it serve.

It was never even wanted by Iger and wouldn’t have been made. Idk if you remember back to the time but KK leaked it through the legacy news media that does her bidding during the peak of me too announcing Harvey Weinstein who was villain number 1s assistant would show run. Iger would’ve been outright burnt at the stake if he then went and said no not happening

Focusing on different characters wouldn’t have made a difference because the show runner sucks. Sol was the worst Jedi in history relatively speaking. Who knows Mog or Yord could be worse we just didn’t get as much to know them. The Smilo actor himself said his character was like Jar Jar, he did a good job making the character interesting but that was all the actor overcoming trash writing. How can anyone think a different focus would’ve saved this when the writer couldn’t hold a theme or storyline for more than a scene or two, who doesn’t understand time or basic mechanics and logistics? You shilled for this embarrassment based on nothing but you know what and are now backpedaling and making excuses for being 100% wrong which is what you always do.
