I didnt film those scenes. And I didnt select them as a teaser, trying to encourage me to go see the film. Your blame is misplaced.
A normal guy like me, hiding behind a super shield isnt my idea of a "SuperHero" movie. Now is it?
btw, the shield isnt the reason Captain America was the first Avenger. It was the serum. The Falcon aint surviving, frozen all those years hiding behind the shield. And yet Steve Rogers did. Due only to the serum. Its going to be ridiculous watching a tiny guy sling the shield around exactly like or maybe better than a serum induced superhuman, now isnt it?
Because the tiny human on the right, isnt doing the magical shield things like the serum guy on the left

On a side note:
When Falcon took over as Captain America in the comics, I'm pretty sure he does not throw the shield much (using it specifically as a shield). He can fly, and the version in the comics can communicate with birds.
I cannot help but wonder if it's a "viewers expect the shield to be thrown" without thinking of WHY Rogers was able to make it do the crazy stuff...
Like Spider-Man says:
"That thing doesn't obey the laws of physics at all."

Like I said, a Super Hero movie. Not comics. I'm not a comic reader, so MY interests back up MY comment. They are trying to tease me into watching a character that I never bothered to even read about
Superman - sun powered
Batman - unlimited wealth
Hulk - gamma rays
Capt America - serum
Spider man - bite
Thor - a god
Iron Man - nuclear heart
Flash - lightning
Wonder woman - goddess
After that, I didnt really care about the others. Certainly not enough to make a huge budget film about
