I heard it a figured it was something.

But I'm not a comic book guy. There are so many references that I think I bet that's something. But I don't know

"Nth Metal" is the element that makes up everything that the Thanagarians (Hawk People: Hawkman, Hawkgirl, etc.) use in their weapons and armor.

It's basically the DC version of "adamantium"

I haven't really watched Arrow that much (not like Flash or Gotham) but I was impressed with the story line for the son. Will watch to see if it catches on.

I think a better comparison is to vibranium since Nth metal has "magic" like properties.

DC's version of Adamantium is Supermanium (I shite you not).

Nth Metal was originally a metal that allowed you to fly (sort of like Cavorite in The First Men in the Moon). Then they began to give it mystical powers and began to make weapons out of it. I don't know if there's a Marvel equivalent.

I didn't know that Vibranium had magic powers. I just thought it absorbed blows and was almost indestructible.

Vibranium doesn't have magical properties in and of itself, but it does react with mystical energy. Here is what the Marvel comic wiki page says about it:
quote:

"Vibranium can amplify mystical energies. It is unstable when used this way and it taps into an energy flow on the quantum level that is virtually infinite. If someone was able to master the secret of using magically charged vibranium they would become immensely powerful.

Also, it is thought to be extraterrestrial in origin. So that is another thing it has in common with Nth metal.

I'm a little confused on Barry's time jumping. Shouldn't there be two of them after he jumps?

I had the same issues.
And where was past Barry when present Barry returned from the arse kicken to meet with the Arrow? I assume he ran into the past, right?

It's time travel. Don't over think it. Just go with it. There is a reason traveling back in time is impossible.

. The Arrow does the same thing with Laurel

Laurel hasn't been the "main love interest" for an entire season,(since season 1)..

fortunately, though she is hotter than the girl playing her sister.

So was the farmhouse line a reference to Age of Ultron? Kinda surprised me.

I think Dr. Stein kind of explained it in layman's terms in season one, right? Kind of explained time travel as a highway between alternate dimensions of the same place.

So past Barry was "driving" alongside present Barry, he just got off at a different exit i.e. dimension
