Arrow viewers migrated to Flash by default.

A more accurate comparison would be Agent Carter to Flash.

At this point the altered time line is the true timeline. With all the tie ins to atom and arrow it has to be. If not by screwing with one shows continuity they will mess up two others

So what's going to happen next week when he goes back in time to save his mom? That could really screw up the timeline.

You can call it the true timeline, but it's not the Flash and Prof. Zoom's original timeline. No matter how long we stick with this timeline, it's an altered one.

With Rip Hunter entering the DC/CW Universe, I'm guessing that we'll be seeing additional alterations to the timeline especially since...

It could, but I'm guessing that they'll find a way to keep the past season intact. Barry may fail to save his mom, but find a way to prove his father's innocence (keeping the season intact and coming away with at least some sort of win).

Yeah. I think it stays the same for the most part. It's going to come down to that conversation with Joe about being different than the arrow. His mom will re-enforce that and boom. Very little change. But I've been wrong about a lot of shite

Who would have thought going into this season that most fans would be waiting on pins and needles for the Flash finale while being thankful that Arrow had crawled across the finish line?

I liked a couple of the more subtle nods in the episode:

One of the release points for the Alpha/Omega was at Adams and O'Neil. Neal Adams and Dennis O'Neil are the writer and artist behind this comic:

Captain Lance is pissed about the Andreyko case. Marc Andreyko is the writer of this comic:

It's the right thread until Arrow earns our trust back

Hey man, Arrow is done. We've still got a Flash episode left.

And Barry goes to Coast City for pizza all the time. This is Ollie's first visit.

And Hal should become Barry's friend first, then Ollie. (If we're going by the DC timeline.)

He'd better be. If Ferris is losing multiple pilots, they're in for some real investigations from the FAA.

I tell you what, that's an amazing scene. It just cuts right to the supervillain nemesis mentality. At some point the original reasoning just doesn't matter. It just turns to hate.

And Cavanagh really pulls that scene off. Even though I can figure a way to do it, I wish they could figure out a way to keep him as a major character on the show. But I guess that may be too much to ask.

They've set up time travel as a huge hurdle for Prof. Zoom. If Rip Hunter or someone can get Zoom back to his original time, he (Zoom) may have difficulty getting back to fight Barry again. That would mean an appearance each season or two, which would be great.

Hopefully it prevents Olicity from ever happening

Danielle Panabaker did an AMA last week and I think I remember her saying that Cavanagh would still be on the show in some way.
