Kingsman was great. Super fun to watch. One of the most enjoyable movies I saw last year.

I was actually going to start a thread the other day on here: Better use of freebird in a movie scene, that church fight scene or the Jenny scene in Forrest Gump.

Had no idea going in and it's a fun watch. Drops any family-fun charade with Freebird massacre, buttsex, etc.
I thought Merlin was Stanley Tucci for a minute, but realized it was Mark Strong - who's doing work lately from Imitation game to beating Clooney to a pulp.

So no one can explain the the whereabouts of all the other Kingsman?
I'm just curious.

That was the question I had. As far as I could tell, it was never addressed in the plot. I guess we're supposed to assume that Arthur controlled them all.
Visually entertaining popcorn violence, but I'm not going to say it's a great movie everyone should watch and rewatch (down vote away!).

Was it nominated for cinematography for any awards?
It should've been, for the fight sequences alone.
Awesome scene... I've always wondered how the hell they filmed that... Must have been aided with CGI or something.

I thought the repeated excessively graphic displays of violence to be absurdly over-the-top. It was clearly made for the video game generation.

The holograms?
yes. all the guys siting around the table with code names and shite.
Why did they have to rely on two new kids?
Posted on 2/17/16 at 8:59 pm to Pectus
Yes, the holograms were the other knights of the round table.

I took them as being past Kingsmen that had died. And this was their AI.

so...... where the hell were they the whole second half of the movie?

Spoilers
The agents around the table, the holograms, are other kingsmen agents that submitted the candidates to replace lancelot.
When the old man in charge is revealed to be a implant recipient I assumed he had made sure they were not involved and/or knew of Galahad's death at the Church and therefore were not briefed on the impending doom.

If Marvel was making a Bond movie, it would feel like Kingsmen
It was a Marvel comic, called The Secret Service: Kingsman. It wasn't hugely popular but most big comic nerds at least knew of it cause it's written by Mark Millar, writer of a lot of Ultimates comics, Civil War, and Kick-arse.

I really enjoyed this movie. The score was fantastic. I sometimes catch myself humming the Kingsman theme

I thought it was obvious they were other knights. Otherwise, the Lancelot who was chopped in half would have been shown.

Finally sat down and watched this. What a lot of fun from start to finish.
Wife asked me why the chick has prosthetic knife legs. I said because she's a henchwoman.
