see I disagree - i though the song choice was great - Rhino was just not as good as Kitty, but if you have 4 really good ones to choose, or 3 good and 1 not so good, it makes selecting the final 3 easier.
hell look at Gronk - no way in hell he should have survived week 1 much less make it through the the 2nd phase. but they let him get there, knowing when it came down to all great performances, he could be the sacrificial lamb for that week.

Red herrings is my only guess. They put tons of puns, fake clues in each of the packages, whether it's names of 80's/90's sitcoms, movies, etc.
There's no BSB connection to superhero stuff like there is for Jesse McCartney voicing Robin/Nightwing in a few animated productions.

I know the name Jesse Mccartney. Seems like i remember hearing his name on the radio in the early 2000s, for a time I wondered if he was any kin to Paul McCartney. I dont know anything about him besides that. If that is him then hes gor a pretty strong singer.
I was sure the Rhino was an established country singer, had no idea at all Barry Zito could sing.
