I can't wait to get this thing off my chest. TWSS.
I liked the thing with Phyllis and the mittens after he made her feel like shite for the oven mit she tried to give him for secret santa. Also like how creed had fished the World's best boss coffee mug out of the trash at the end.
Watching the scene with Michael and Jim, you could tell it took many takes and their eyes looked different from the crying.

Please let Gabe go crazy with rage and turn out to be the scranton strangler.

I was very disappointed with the last Toby interaction. I was expecting so much more.
There was much more, you just missed it apparently. The joke is on Michael, who will have to deal with Toby 2.0 in Boulder. I guess the writers figured Michael and Toby just didn't have anything to wrap up. Their relationship was just like the scene went.

what i don't get is Toby was in the courtroom with the SS and had to have seen his face and knows who he is. and you telling me the SS's face hasn't been on the news at all?
Posted on 4/29/11 at 12:11 am to Acreboy
No he's saying that Gabe turns out to be the SS. Toby's speech at the Dundies was something to the effect that he wasn't sure the guy was guilty. Turns out it was Gabe!

Yeah that guy is in jail, and he's not actually the SS, which is why Toby said he wasn't sure he was guilty. He's suggesting (the guy a couple posts above) that it would be funny if Gabe turns out to be the real SS.

I think Gabe is the one that gets shot in the head by Dwight
Seriously though, great send-off for Michael. Loved that TWSS was his final words. The fact that he said it while he was turning his mic over was just icing on the cake. That's how I wished it would end.
The Dwight interview where he read Michael's letter started the tears for me, the Michael/Jim scene did as well.
No doubt in my mind that Michael comes back in the series finale, probably when they air the documentary they've been making for 8-10 years.

The scene with Michael and Jim was . Made me like Jim's character a lot more. It will never be the same. Loved how they made his last line TWSS. Great ending to an era.
It's like losing a friend. It's just said to see him fly away like that man

Solid goodbye for Michael, but I was also a little disappointed. I guess I had unknowingly set my expectations too high for how sweet/sad it was gonna be. It still was, but I felt a little let down at the end of it.
That being said though, it was a good send off. Loved the TWSS after turning over his mike. The Jim goodbye scene definitely had me tearing up a lot. You could really see how it made Michael feel when Jim said that he was the best boss he'd ever had. Dwight reading the letter was also good stuff. The Phyllis mittens thing was also good...shows he really does care.
The DeAngelo/Andy sales thing was stupid though. It was great to see Andy go back and get the sale, but I hated that storyline. Ferrell needs to go SOON. The cake thing was too much, and the clip for next week looks pretty bad. It's not DeAngelo Vickers in that clip...it's Will Ferrell. And that's bad.
Also, not sure how Pam got through security at the airport without a ticket.

Well it looked like Michael had gone through security based on where he was standing, but at that point he had not taken the mic off. I doubt you go through security with a mic.....also the cameraman was still with him at that point too.

Either that or they'll all come together for his wedding to Holly.

No.
Cameraman stopped at the security check, and that's where Michael gave him his mike. That's why it was zoomed in as Michael walked away. And Pam made it PAST security to say her goodbye to Michael, that's why she had her shoes in her hand. I just didn't think you could go past that checkpoint without a ticket and boarding pass (at least in any airport I've been in since 9/11).
