Watched it today, thought it was really funny. I thought Wahlberg did a good enough job and the Rock and Samuel L were great too.

This shite was laugh out loud funny, a lot better than I expected it to be. Only regret is that I didn't have a few drinks before I saw it.

i honestly thought that it was no where near one of will ferrell's better movies. to me it was more in the league of semi-pro. it cant touch anchorman or step brothers. dinner for schmucks to me was alot better. there just weren't many funny lines in the movie. its was decent but by no means was it one of his best

Saw it yesterday afternoon. Overall, I thought it was very funny, but it kinda dragged on a little too long. It was over two hours and the conspiracy kind of meandered. All in all, it was funny, but it could have been about 20-30 minutes shorter.

This dragged. But, yeah, Lion vs. Tuna was fantastic. That and Gator are the big hits of this movie.
TLC reference gag was brutally bad. Intentionally so, I realize, but come on.

probably the funniest movie i have ever seen. wahlberg imo did a great job and ferrel was hilarious
You honestly need to get out and watch some movies if you think this is the funniest ever...this is no where close to Talladega Nights or Anchor Man...but it is worth watching...probably be better watching at home on DVD....it seemed kind of long and like they had a hard time getting to the end...but it did have several laugh out loud moments...

I thought it was funny. It started off very strong and hit a bit of a lull toward the middle then finished strong.
The whole tuna/tiger converstaion was hilarious as is the whole "my plain wife" schtick

i can't believe what i'm reading in this thread.
that movie was below average at best. another chapter in this summer's book of weakness (MINUS inception, and maybe salt)
im encouraging everyone of a slight grasp of reality to not waste your 8 bucks on this. it's entirely forced humor and wahlberg's character NEVER develops. yes, there were some funny parts but its simply because ferrel's presence and he can make any knock-knock joke sound funny. as for wahlberg, a disappointing performance.
4/10 stars. i seriously considered going to sleep during it.

Dude, you didn't think his character on eastbound and down was funny? Ashley schaeffer is fricking hillarious.

I'm just saying a lot of things with him seemed forced, like the dinner scene with Eva Mendes or the ballet scene.
I agree but the rest of the movie was money. I laughed the whole time. Wasn't expecting it to be this good. The whole rant with Ferrell talking about lions not being able to swim in the ocean was the funniest thing ever. The gator part was awesome too
