I guess you are right. I was just going off my anecdotal experience. My father converted to Catholicism and I married a catholic so it’s never been an issue with me personally.

Nevermind this might be a problem. As a catholic myself I have been to a few of these and felt uncomfortable. Granted the couple I’ve been to were serious prosperity gospel type places and I’m sure some are better
I thought this was gonna be a Jew/christian or Muslim/jew type question but yea catholic/protestant should be no big deal.

My parents made it work. Ancestors probably rolling over in graves though consider one side was Irish catholic and the other Irish Protestant. Yea we like to drink

Never got the hype for this guy. He was terrible against us. The only reason ASU got back into that game in the 2nd half is they figured out they could run it down our throat once our best DL got hurt.

Leavitt was missing open receivers left and right in the first half

Getting a kid in the year 2026 a 1970’s car for his first vehicle

Get him an early-mid 2000’s extended cab truck or Nissan xterra or something.

According to the google, the Bulldog Collective had $20.5 million for 2025; they budgeted $6.5 million towards football.

By comparison every other SEC school committed over $10 million towards football. Six schools spent over $15 million. LSU and Texas each spent more than $20 million.

That’s not true. We spent a little over 12 million on this years team. We have just under 20 million raised for 2026 football but tbh a lot of that is commitments and not cash in hand yet. Some may get pulled due to not believing in Lebby. We will see.
A visit Mississippi float
Rule #1 for regular out of warranty maintenance never, under any circumstances take your vehicle to a dealership for service

Find a local mechanic with good ratings and take it there. Bonus if you call before hand and they say they are slammed and can’t fit you in that day (that means they’re good)

I took my 2018 Tahoe into a local shop last year for the same type of 100k mile check in and all he said to do was change the spark plugs and start changing oil at 5-6k miles to keep the lifters in my GM 5.3 happy.

With a 2018 Toyota which is a very good year Toyota I wouldn’t do anything but change the oil and plugs but take it somewhere local

I was at 3-2. Surely that gives me some special rant cred

I had a 04 avalanche that was a tank. Beat the shite out of that thing and never any issues. Sold it with 170k miles to a family friend who still drives it to this day. Last I saw it was a couple years ago and it had almost 400k miles and still running good. I think they had to do some suspension work and rebuild the trans at some point but engine still ticking. The GM 5.3 pre AFM is one of the best V8’s ever made.

I nominate the mid to late 90’s chevys though. Great looking and very reliable. I still see a lot of these driving around today and used as work trucks

And the best commercials

Sounds like he alpha’d your entire family.

Does sound pretty trashy as well. Why hasn’t your dad kicked him out yet?

Smells like a fake story tbh

What do yall think these have in them other than caffeine and the same shite that’s in a Diet Coke?

Where in my post did I mention Diet Coke? I don’t drink that either

I used to drink them every once in a while but have stopped. shite can’t be good for you.

Also, to the people that drink several every day there is a warning label on their cans to limit yourself to 1 or 2 per day. Gonna give yall fricking heart attacks

isnt there a plug and play way to get rid of that?

There are the range AFM disabler that you just plug in to the truck but I’ve read that to fully fix the issue you need to actually take the engine out and remove the lifters.
Yea I saw 5.7 and potentially the 6.6. I dk why they’d put the 6.6 in a half ton.

If they could just take out the cylinder de activation shite in the 5.3 that would be perfect.
My every round putter for a long time has been an older Newport 2 that looks like this. I thinks it’s the 05 or 06 model year. It’s still in great condition and I love it

did anyone else play this game at your high schools football games on the practice field adjacent to the home stands?

We would always kick it up a notch when the team would go in at halftime to impress our future coaches as they walked by
Oh sure the fricking HR rep would have saved everything. Give me a break
