No they didn't. I mean, killing the tiger did help the CGI budget, but they were following the comics on that one.

So a dozen or so half decomposed zombies that were soaking in toxic waste were able to grab and tear apart a 500lb tiger..? There is just no way. It could have overpowered them easily and got away. Where would they even grab it?
