Agreed it was a pretty lazy way for the tiger to go but happy she is gone

Blame the source material for that. Though I wish the walking dead people would have put their heads together and said out loud "can 6 walkers rip apart a freaked out tiger?"

And then changed it from the comics.

And the whole "We will not lose one person" thing he was harping on was just as stupid, if not moreso

As soon as he said this an episode or 2 ago I thought to myself "well, I guess they're all gonna die".

Same

I love TWD, but it's time to start killing off some people. Start focusing more on the core group. Next week looks very promising.

My only gripe is that Shiva should have been killed a different way. Having a full grown, enraged Tiger ripped apart by like 6 walkers was silly. 6 regular men would get ripped to shreds against a tiger of that size.

That was one of my many gripes about it. It was just completely unbelievable to the point of being silly. ten to 15 able-bodied men would be ripped apart by a gigantic tiger hellbent on destruction, yet less than that many walkers took her down with basically not a fight at all.

But I was glad to see Shiva go. Thought it was a truly shark-jumping moment when she was introduced into the comic.

Well I don't want to invoke any comic talk in here (there weren't different threads this week I guess), but yeah it seems stupid that a fricking trained tiger would be part of the story anyway. Feels totally unnecessary and really out of place.

Best part of these stupid episodes lately is very minimal-to-zero Coral.

I can't remember the comics on this besides she died.

But the show has been detailing her as a decently old tiger. Minimum 10ish years old, probably older. So she's going to be slower.

I'm reaching here, but maybe Shiva was caught off guard because the walkers showed no fear of her and were advancing on her without guarding themselves? Like I said, a reach, but something tells me Kirkman just knows jack-shite about tigers.

I don't think it matters anymore with comic-free spoilers. Most of the regulars who used to talk TWD don't even discuss anymore. I'll make sure not to post anything that could happen based on the source material, and only stick to events that already occurred in the show and the comics.

It wasn't even trained. It was a zoo animal, which having worked at Audubon Zoo for a time when I was a teen, I know those animals aren't trained for shite. Yeah they are well fed and cared for, but would still take you out if given a chance.

Mike the Tiger I could maybe believe, since he is raised around people at a young age, but Shiva? Man once she gets all psycho-crazed, you can't tell me she can tell the difference between a Kingdomer and a Savior.

I thought it was decent episode plot wise but for that chase scene was all kinds of stupid. And funny how that Savior could mow a bunch of people down on an open field from a distance yet couldn’t shoot Rick who like 10-15 feet away. Plus the Savior they was driving only pulled out his gun when Rick jumped next to him.

For a show that uses guns so much, you’d think they’d do a better job of shootouts and action scenes.

I will say that at least with that 50-cal, they had a throwaway line about a couple of boxes of ammo in the truck, and there being even more at some other place.

So we know that there is a good bit of ammo for that gun. It's as simple as that.

At this point I'm watching to see how Rick kills Negan. And I know I'll be disappointed

Another thing is how is Maggie still not showing at all? Are they too lazy to make her look pregnant? And I’ve heard she’s probably not giving birth till next season.

Wouldn't the tiger have been pretty much doomed once it bit into that first zombie or does that only work one way?

Fear the Walking Dead seemed to point that it can go both ways if you're not careful.

Finished season 3 of FTWD last night as well as last nights episode and it blows me away how much this show has fallen. We use to bash FTWD and now it's better than the original. It's now like a cheap SyFy show that we are stuck on.

She probably won't ever look pregnant. They'll do the time jump and boom a kid.

The story just sucks for tv at this point. Same shite over and over. They need to mix it up have a cure for the walkers or something
