It should’ve been obvious for a long time time now he’s never finishing those books

well lets just wait to see it play out in the fall.

Our OL and (sometimes) RB units have been hyped up by fans, media, and even PFF each of the last 2 years. I’ll believe they’re finally good again when I see it
There’s a Georgia Tech fan over on the MSB that insists that the current state of the CFB really benefits these smaller programs. But outside the Indianas and Ole Misses, the vast majority of programs (like Duke here) have turned into feeder schools. They’re being gutted every year
I wouldn’t say of no consequence. Depth is important too

Also Horton went to A$M

Princewill Urinarytractinfection was committed to us at one point wasn’t he? Or a heavy lean?

247 sports doesn’t even list Bama as one of his offers out of HS

Also this will be his 3rd school. Crazy world

I’m surprised this doesn’t happen more often.

Yeah I find it hard to believe the players don’t talk about it

Found the issue, right off the bat!

Yeah I don’t get it

These guys are intending to piss people off with their “hot takes”. They don’t do sports news anymore because people get their news online, so instead they say inflammatory things to get people interested and talking

And people like OP fall for it
He just didn’t put up big enough numbers thanks to the system he played in

But Julio will be in the Pro Football HoF

My service came back on for 5 min but has been out for the last several hours
Yeah probably copied it from the US like they do for a lot of things. They don’t even bother to alter the designs much at all

had become a raging alcoholic and it was affecting him greatly.

Just like Ogedei Khan. Not sure how much of Western Europe they would’ve conquered or how long they would’ve held it but surely they would’ve caused havoc in mass. But thanks to Ogedei’s dangerously high love of booze we never found out

don’t know what to say other than letting Keeley walk may have been a mistake.

I’m sure they would’ve liked to have to retained him but who knows how much ND was offering? If he was getting a giant bag maybe Bama decided they couldn’t afford it because they had other holes to fill up (or renegotiate like Pierre) with more proven players
We are losing depth. All it takes is a few injuries and we’ll be down to nobodies out there

Who is Josh Allen's backup in Buffalo?

A Pro Bowler who was the former no.2 overall draft pick with 4 years starting experience (Mitch Trubisky)

I kind of agree with what you’re saying but NFL teams have the luxury of signing practice squad players from other teams, can trade players, and just sign unsigned players. One of the 49ers new starting LBs was a former multi time Pro Bowler that was unsigned because he was like 32 years old and looked slow last time he played. But he had tons of experience and was able to be a coach on the field for them

The arguement can be made that even if he does produce it still ends quickly

Or he bolts like he always does. Maybe this time back to the NFL

The rest of us will have to keep recruiting the elite HS kids( we can still afford them) and RETAINING THEM. Roster retention is gonna be the biggest key for us going forward if we wanna stay near the top. We can afford the elite HS kids, we can't the elite portal ones

I think this is position dependent. For skill positions yes. Young receivers or RBs can step in quickly. For linemen probably better to hit the portal due to how long it takes to develop them. But (easier said then done) but they have to find diamond in the rough kind of guys. Like Indiana’s top defensive player was previously a starter at Kent State who had ok numbers.

cant believe they have that many more wealthy donors than a program like ours. I may be mistaken , but just dont understand it.

They have at least 2 billionaires. Canes co-founder and some hedge fund guy.
Remember they are the only major program in the state. And as poor as Louisiana is, they have some rich industries and individuals

I don’t know how much he’s got but Bryant Jr definitely has a lot. But even if he’s worth a half a billion, he’d still be small potatoes compared to some guy worth $20B. Of course net worth doesn’t necessarily mean liquid assets rich but a guy with $20B likely has way more to burn compared to guy well under $1B

On a side note, I don’t see how this is remotely sustainable for a lot of FBS programs right now. The vast majority of programs don’t have the rich base or one that cares enough about athletics

People are excited about the Cinderellas like Indiana and Ole Miss and think it means parity as a whole. But so many other small name teams are getting gutted right now. Probably the majority I’d say every year are losing any remotely talented player
Sabb is an average player but I think his experience can be valuable
