Just finished season 3 of the wire. Great show, definitely in my top 5. With that being said breaking bad is currently the GOAT for me.

Can I do the same with an IPAD? I just got it the other day and have never streamed to my television. I was actually supposed to go to the Apple place and have them show me some features but I bailed last minute because I didn't feel like going early in the morning.

I don't think you can stream to the ipad, but I could be mistaken. I sometimes put movies and tv shows on my ipad. I use handbrake to make them into .mp4 and then import to ipad from itunes.

The Wire...I mean, if you'll eventually watch both, might as well start with the series that has been completed. They're both great.

I've only seen the first season of Breaking Bad so far. But I did so right after watching the Wire.
My advice is to watch Breaking Bad first, bc switching from The Wire straight to breaking bad makes every character on Breaking Bad seem overdone and less dimensional because The Wire had such a fantastic realism to it (noone really all good, all bad, all cop ect... everyone is multiple things)

Flip a coin. You can't go wrong with either.
If you go Breaking Bad first and catch up you can join in the discussion for the final 8 episodes next year. But in reality you can watch both before Breaking Bad wraps up.
Probably the two best shows of my lifetime so it doesn't really matter as long as you watch them both.

I've watched Breakung Bad from the beginning and love it. I watched the first 2 episodes of The Wire and it really hasn't hooked me yet. I'll keep working on it though.

Love both. Breaking bad is more "fast paced" The wire is the greatest thing to ever grace a television screen.

Breaking Bad is very good but The Wire is a couple levels above it. Whichever you choose watch both at some point though.
