I kind of feel like they set this up last season when it was just Toby with everyone else there to see Rebecca at the end.
I'm still liking the new characters and how they tie in. Nothing will top the first season of this show, but I've watched it all so I'm in for the long haul.

Miguel is the greatest friend ever. He was willing to walk away all over Jack. Beautiful.
They've said all along that once we know the whole story on Miguel, that everyone is going to love him. It definitely appears that it's coming together. I'm guessing they'll show time and time again that Miguel has stepped up for Jack. His marriage to Rebecca decades after Jack's death will likely be as much an extension of that devotion to Jack as it will be to Becca.

He also wore a fat suit and prosthetic jowls in previous seasons.

Yes, he did.

Last night really goes to show that Kevin is the most thoughtful of the Pearson kids. The episodes where Justin Hartley gets to break out of his hunk stereotype are often the best.

Agree completely .
“ number 1” is a great example of this as well.

I can't recall the episode, but S1 when Kevin is with Tessa & Annie and William, trying to explain the painting as a metaphor for death - peak Kevin.

The ones in referring too is his “ centric” episode.. where he goes back to high school for his achievement award and gets drunk and goes to the football field and gives that speech about how no matter how bad he screws up and everything, they always keep cheering.
I watch this scene every now and then.. he’s so vulnerable in that moment

Well, it appears Kate will be nagging Toby every episode about his time in the gym. God forbid the dude try to better himself a little bit and be healthy so he can take care of his family. Do the writers intend for us to like Kate at all? I am a pretty sympathetic person and I don't care about her at this point.

Yeahhh it was sort of a comfort for her to have someone morbidly obese as well to be paired with... now she’s the whale with the guy who’s getting fit .
The last episode when she humiliatingly says she can’t fit in the booth... I felt kinda bad for her in that moment saying it..

Mrs Vox told me last night that Timothy Omundson who plays Kate & Toby's neighbor Gregory, actually did have a stroke IRL. He's been out of the spotlight for the last year or two as he recovers.
He's been an extraordinary character actor, to the point he was interviewed in That Guy Who Was in That Thing with many other famous character actors.
Cliff's Notes version is TIU producers gave him latitude to work as much of his real experience into the character as he wanted, in an effort to make it as authentic as possible.

Yea, they had to rewrite him out of the Psych movie and just put him in as a cameo.

She's just a completely miserable person. Can't stand her character

I can’t figure out what is going to happen with Kevin and GI Jane.
Did they tease us making us think they would get together?
Or are they now trying to throw us off the scent bringing the husband back into it?

So did I. I enjoyed last night's episode much more than I did the first two.
There was a Kate positive, though. I think the fact that she's starting the baby out with the music and sounds is what will be the catalyst for his singing. At least that's my interpretation.

It’d be nice if Kevon didn’t have a season long love interest to screw up at the end. I agree he’s the most interesting character.
I don’t mind Kate so much currently. She’s bottling a lot up. And that’s totally a female thing to do is to lash out at the husband when shite goes bad.
I’ve liked this season so far. Hopefully it keeps up.
