I'm a fan of most of his films. I thought Tenet was stupid, Nolan at his worst. I have not seen the following.

I'm looking forward to seeing what's next. I hope we get an inception sequel someday.

He doesn't do sequels of his own stuff (to this point), and he's turned down scads and scads of money to do so.

Bottom line: Don't hold your breath

My brother in Christ...

September 2024 Re-Release

Interstellar is probably my second favorite movie ever. i don't HATE the ending, but it keeps it from being my #1.

Everything about it except for 10 minutes is perfection.

The only one I didn't completely admire was Tenet. Also Dunkirk was good but not groundbreaking. Everything else was great to me.

i know that it was production hell and he inherited a mess, but it still sucks and lost everything that made its' predecessors awesome. i like everything else Fincher has done (I haven't seen Mank).

I don't hold A3 against him, but it's not good.

It's arguably the second best movie in the entire franchise.

I...said...his...own...stuff. And I BOLDED it.

Obviously, he was hired to do Goyer's Batman stuff and I'm not an idiot.

IMHO, fans will never get a sequel to:

Following
Memento
The Prestige
Inception
Interstellar
Tenet

The historical stories are in another category, as are TDK films and Insomnia.

Wish he didn’t blast the score in his movies.

It’s one thing if you think he’s overhyped, but not sure how anyone who actually likes movies could hate him.

Well, it is to drown out his already intentionally muddled/muffled/mumbling dialog.

(Full disclosure: I love the films, but his sound design irks me.)

As he has aged he’s shifted from a movie every 1-2 years to a movie every 3 years. I expect he will shift to every 4-5 years.

I’d expect he works to maybe 70. 16 years. So maybe 4 or 5 more movies.

Enjoy him while you can.
