. It was explained in episode 5

yea, I think he probably explained it to us when Pam and the other vamps were in Bill's living room. I hate when I don't pay attention to a scene because it doesn't seem important at the time.

That's exactly when they talked about it

Also, I just realized that when Jessica ran out of Merlotte's to go find Jason that officially meant there was no waitresses working at Merlotte's that night. I mean, they can't keep a waitress for shite around there!

Yeah, and Skinwalker TommySam fired Sookie (yet Sookie has maybe worked 5 shifts since Season 1 ended ).

Seriously, how the frick does that place stay open? I guess it's the benefit of being the only real restaurant in town

The real action is down the road at Eric's place, Fangtasia.

I was thinking about the waitress situation when Jessica was having her heart-to-heart with Jason... "Wait a minute... she said Arlene and Holly called in... and Sookie was fired... so basically, whoever is cooking, which ISN'T Lafayette, and whoever is bartending, which ISN'T Sam, is now waitressing..."

Antonia knows some bad-azz spells. If you can say like one phrase in latin or whatever she was speaking, then point the hook-'em-horns sign at a vamp and have them on their knees, that's pretty awesome. She's about 100X the witch that Marnie is. Of course, it looks like Jesus' abuelito is on par with her, PLUS he's rockin' the Sharp-Dressed-Man beard.

actor-playing-sam-possessed-by-tommy--that was awesome. Sam is going to have some 'splainin' to do when he gets back to his own life!

I'm gonna guess that the spirit attached to the doll doesn't have anything to do with Lafayette. I could be wrong, but it seems like if it was a spirit who had witch powers, it would be seeking a witch, like Jesus' Tio, and Antonia, etc, not attaching to a baby doll and freaking out Hoyt and playing mind-games with Arlene.

yea, I still want to stick to my spagetti on the wall idea that doll lover Summer and her delicious biscuits have something to do with the doll.

Summer was Hoyt's rebound when him and Jess broke up last season. She was OBSESSED with dolls. I think she left that baby doll in his house and knew it was cursed or possessed and now Arlene's baby is best friends with it!

I completely forgot about Summer . But that's a very observant connection that you made to the doll and her.

To be honest, I don't know why no one has burned the doll or buried it or anything. It's nasty looking!

I don't know but on a semi-related side note, my mother called me the other day and said she had a bunch of boxes of my old things she wanted me to have, so I met her on Sunday to get them. The first thing I saw in one of the boxes was...baby dolls! I thought to myself, "Oh hell no I do not want no crazy baby dolls in my house, no sir, I know what happens when you let dirty old dolls in the house!"

I think the doll is nasty looking because it has probably been burned and buried unsuccessfully on numerous occasions. muhahahhaa
