I know Mk was turning it over to start the game, but I don’t understand how she doesn’t put up 40 against teams like this. They can’t guard you! Dominate! She doesn’t have enough of a killer instinct to me.

This year’s team has 3 wins against teams currently in the top 11, including 2 on the road. Not only was Texas top 5 when we played them, they were 18-0. We also have a win over another top 25 team in Alabama. Also the team has made every elite 8 since she won the title.
If you want to say we are now solidly tier 2 and a step below teams like UCONN, UCLA, Texas, and USC, fine.
But to say she hasn’t won a big game is absurd. The sec is absolutely stacked every year.

There was one play Kim really tore into Koval. I swear fulwiley passed her a hot potato, at her feet, in a crowd. The frick was she supposed to do with that grenade? I guess it’s easier to yell at her than fulwiley

Only attempting 12 threes in this era of basketball is got damn disgusting, it is my biggest running issue with Kim’s teams.
The math is so tilted against you when you play teams of similar talent, unless you have insane offensive rebounders like Morrow and Reese.

Something that frustrates me about MKW is she stays so methodical and pounds the ball when we’re losing in the 4th quarter. I don’t want her to be go so fast that she’s out of control, but pounding the air out of the ball shortens the game. You shouldn’t be doing that when you’re losing.

She can’t coach them into making free throws or jump shots.
Something entirely in her power is calling timeouts. She waited far too long to use her first one of the second half, while the offense had totally fallen apart. The last timeout was used on a hopeless out of bounds challenge. Hell, I think her 2nd timeout of the half was wasted as well, I just can’t remember the exact circumstances.
In all of the big games, she sits on her timeouts hoping the team will figure things out on their own. They have failed to do so, SPECTACULARLY, in all 4 losses.
