I think if Sookie can just stay away from Bill for a little bit and not drink any of his blood, she won't be so crazy and brainless. Then we could tolerate her better.

the last shot of them in the house was pretty dark with the creepy music and that creepy little doll lying on the floor.

I'm wondering if it's a house Summer used to live in since she liked dolls so much. Summer is definitely creepy. The whole thing with the biscuits and dolls was weird.

Horrible end to a terrible season.

1. Were-panther story went absolutely nowhere. The whole inbred family of hillbillies was pointless. The whole plot could have been removed and would have actually made the season better.

2. Tara. I am not sure I hate a character more on any show ever. I didn't hate her in the earlier seasons, but all she does is get mad, scream and cry. Every season is the same with her. Can't stand her.

3. I Love You Bill. I Hate You Bill. I LOVE YOU BILL. I HATE YOU BILL. Sookie is almost as much of a broken record as Tara is. Only plus is she gets naked and we forget what a shitty actress she is and how boring her story is.

4. Sam. This season they just turned him into Tara.

5. Force Godric just sucks. So Eric can see Force Godric now. I hated that bullshite in Star Wars, and I hate it even more in this show.

6. I wish Lafayette had just died like he was supposed to in season 1.

This season felt like a mid season break. With Russell still alive, I don't think they resolved anything. Just as too many cooks in the kitchen can frick things up, too many actors to keep happy on an ensemble show can do the same.

Simply too many worthless plots that were never developed because there are too many actors to keep happy.

My easy predictions for next season:

1. Sam did not shoot his brother (DUH!).
2. Bill will not die so that means either Queenie is dead or she will flee.
3. Tara will come back. (Car crash would be nice but it won't happen.)
4. Sookie will be back from Neverland.
5. The Were-panther story wills suck even worse.
6. Eric will finally hook up with Sookie but so will Alcide.
7. Arlen will still be a bitch and her story will drag the show down.

Oh, I also don't buy for a second that Eric would let Bill go after that. That was just BS. He would have ripped Bills head off.

I will still watch next season with the HOPE of seeing some MORE of Jessica, but I am not as interested in the show after this dreadful season.

Russell was the only thing good about this season and they know it which is why they stuck him in the ground so they could bring him back if needed.

I think next season will be a total change from the past three seasons.

Sookie is not going to be with Bill anymore. Now that we know the relationship with Bill was a lie from the start (b/c of the rattrays incident), she will leave him alone. She will probably come back from fairyland as a new person and hopefully be not so annoying anymore.

Tara should be a new person too. With the symbolic cutting off of the hair, we should finally see a more tolerable side of her. The finale kind of led us to believe she was leaving town but I think she will be back.

Hoyt and Jessica -I'm pretty sure it's gonna end badly for those two. The baby doll not only reminded us of Summer's obsession with dolls but also that Jessica and Hoyt can never have a normal marriage including babies. I predict the mom will try to shoot Jessica but will hit Hoyt instead. It would make more sense for Hoyt to be killed off than Jessica. Jessica would need to experience the total loss of Hoyt so she can start a transformation into being just like Bill.

Eric, next season should be the beginning of him showing a more human side to everyone like what Sookie saw on the rooftop that night with GODric. Not killing Russell for good was a small step towards forgiveness, which is what Godric was trying to preach to him about in his visions.

Jason. The fact that Jason is going to take care of those imbred people when a few weeks ago, he couldn't even make a decision in the hospital as to Sookie's medical care....well, we might start seeing a more responsible Jason. I can't even begin to guess where the storyline is going on that one.

laffy. Oh Lafayette, seeing dead people and having visions...just like his momma. It was an interesting comment his mother made (something about you have your mask off) which makes me think we are going to see a very real lafayette and not just this front he has been hiding behind the past few seasons. He is about to go to a very dark place that hopefully includes V induced trips!

You seemed to have missed the fact that Eric did not kill Russell because he thought there might be some form of redemption in the afterlife after seeing Godric.

He decided it would be better for Russell to suffer than have any chance at redemption. Godric clearly did not look happy with the concrete solution.

Andy will get an uzi and wipe out the entire population of Bon Temps, including that little f#*ker in the clan suit during the opening theme. Put an end to this mess of a series (after we get to see Jessica naked of course ).

I think the best explanation of the Godric/Eric/Russell thing comes from Sookieverse:

quote:

Godric’s message was one that has echoed throughout this season, and one that was voiced explicitly by Arlene in Lafayette’s vision: Hell is a prison of our own making, and our hatred forms the bricks from which it is built. The truth is, there is no heaven or hell—only peace or affliction. And we are all equally deserving of freedom from affliction, a state that only exists in the realm of pure love.....In short, Godric’s plea was not just for mercy toward Russell, but for Eric to free himself from the shackles of his own thirst for vengeance—a spiritual transcendence, of which mercy and forgiveness are only the necessary byproduct....there’s also something to be said for the fact that Eric dismisses Godric’s pleas. Despite the fact that he claimed to “spare” Russell as a consequence of this vision, it’s clear that Eric only wishes to keep the King alive in order to prolong his suffering. What’s not so wonderful is that prolonging Russell’s suffering also requires Eric to prolong his own suffering.
