How so? You think shows won't be available to stream?

I think there will be some streaming but right now there is a big scramble to find what is profitable. A lot of studios made streaming platforms, dumped a lot of money into them to find out it’s not bringing them the revenue they had hoped for. Which is why you are seeing mass layoffs amongst studios right now, mergers, assets being sold off. I don’t think the studios know quite what the future will be yet. But if I were a gambling man I bet streaming will lean on more commercials and higher subscription rates. Even Netflix is billions in debt.

I like it but it’s got this very sons of anarchy vibe to it.

I’m watching it casually….the courtroom scene in episode 1 or 2 was laughably bad…I just try to survive the silliness and enjoy the good parts. Every single scene with the New York guys is a good scene.

The drama to farce measure on the Goodfellas to My Blue Heaven scale seems to be trending hard in a certain direction.

Tonight’s episode seemed like it was written by AI - as we had the random checks with the three rival groups, Tyson’s dad survived but is on life support and now he wants revenge.

I actually enjoyed the Tulsa and New York scenes as well as those guys seem to be putting a little effort into their thinking about how to handle things within the show. Both groups seem to realize the potential of Dwight as an earner and not want to rock the boat - for now.

Course, the ending of tonight’s episode may change that.

and like magic he wakes up to call tyson, after tryson left after crying at his bedside. I like the show but it's no soprano's. The big 4 tv networks can't seem to deliver the quality HBO and other networks can.

Thresher has realized he's in over his head. How did he get involved with the Chinese?

yea you can see the fear. It's quite a different look than what we have seen from him in the past.

I think he hired the Chinese to work on his pot farm not realizing they were part of Chinese organized crime now he's stuck. I just hope Chickie gets whacked. He's annoying.

I actually think Thresher is so scared of the Chinese dude after watching him put a cap in the other guys head that he is about to come clean with Dwight. That’s probably the season ender conflict. Not sure what kind of new drama is about to unfold with Tyson. I am guessing that was one of the St Louis guys he got into the gunfight with? Who knows what that is gonna lead to since he pretty much directly disobeyed Dwight. Also the whole thing going down in New York is interesting. If I am understanding correctly Vince is pushing Dwight to replace Chickie? Lots of subplots with this series which makes it interesting. I also think Dwight’s daughter and his bar partner end up as a couple.

I think Vince is pushing for Vince to replace Chickie. Vince realized Chickie killed Pete and wants the former dead.

Yeah makes sense about Vince taking over as the Boss. I actually replayed that sit down with him and the other Capts a few times but they brought up Dwight’s name so it threw me. Honestly I am not sure New York even matters anymore if Tulsa and KC have a deal and Dwight isn’t sending them envelopes anymore.

first of all, the episodes are too short. shite starts getting good and... credits.

somehow the dad has a miracle recovery? That's kind of weak and expected.

Dana Delaney is still sexy.

Thresher is really starting to regret trying to play hardball with people who play hardball for a living.
