The son of Donal Logues character King Horik from and Jarl Borge's (who Ragnar did the Blood Eagle to) wife.

King Horik's son and Jarl Bolg's wife and son. Honestly it's basically a reason to seperate Ragnar and Ecbert for a moment so they can scheme against each other. Kalf's new allies are just a few beaten down warrior's added to an already outmatched bad guy. They will be handled with ease.

It's a recap of the show from Athelstan's Point of View. Really good insight of his struggle to hold onto his faith against his overwhelming love of the Viking way of life. Didn't finish, but I'm looking forward to seeing all of the old scenes.
***Spoilers from last night's episode***
Sad to see Athelstan go, but his acceptance after devoting himself again to what he believed his purpose was admirable. Ragnar's "talk" with him at the gravesite was really good as well. Never give much thought to the different religion/different afterlife topic and it became obvious why Ragnar had wanted to keep him close so badly. Looking forward to some battles! Oh and Bjorn's wife.... Woof!
