Because you are obviously someone who likes to stereotype people.

Wall-E was visually spectacular but the global worming type theme just screamed at me too much. I was waiting for Al Gore's name to appear in the credits as a consulting editor.

I'm with you! I say we start a program at every school in the world entitled, "frick it, I'll be dead by then."

You're a very sad person if you were even remotely offended by a fricking kids movie. Remember, it WAS a kids movie and I think it's a pretty good message to pass along to the younguns these days.

Maybe, but I think if you'll re-read your post, you'll see that I'm probably not the only one stereotyping here.

ETA: I'm far from a "tree hugging, hippy, Green Peace" person (as you would put it), but if you think the World doesn't have a trash problem, here you go.

My favorite excerpt:

quote:

The gyre has actually given birth to two large masses of ever-accumulating trash, known as the Western and Eastern Pacific Garbage Patches, sometimes collectively called the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. The Eastern Garbage Patch floats between Hawaii and California; scientists estimate its size as two times bigger than Texas [source: LA Times].

Would you rate wall-e above Finding Nemo or The Lion King.

Equal to Nemo; not as good as Lion King.

Your original post reads...

quote:

It was decent but as I watched it I realized how much of a piece of crap, tree hugging, hippy loving, conservation preachin, humanity is a bunch of idiots, green peace humans are destroying the earth movie it was that by the end I was more aggrevated than anything else.

Yeah, I'd say I pulled quotes out of "no where."
