If you don’t think the league sees the current state of the fanbase and just in general the city as a whole, they do.

The NBA is taking active steps to move stars to big markets. Just this year you see Morant, Lamelo, and Giannas working their way out of small markets. Won’t even get into Nico and Luka. If you believe that sort of thing is wholly organic, lol.
