Well i meant it from a human perspective. Take Louisiana and the eroding coastline. The drilling, the fault lines, things like that. I'd imagine when we (humans) weren't here the earth was treated better. The land was more flourished, life in general was probably "better" for whatever existed. Oxygen was probably its cleanest. Just things like that. Is that sort of a better explanation?

Yes it is. I think that the actions of humans on this planet are massively overstated, however. Even if we were to deliberately try and destroy all life on Earth we'd fail miserably.

Which only supports my earlier point, which was that nothing you've said has made sense, and you keep changing your beliefs or retracting your statements.

Well thats one failure i don't really mind.

I couldn't even think up a way we'd try and go about such a task. The only thing coming to mind would be a nuclear holocaust but some sort of life would still survive and the "earth" would just go through the process all over again. It would take a death star to totally wipe out the earth to cease its life.

Time will do it as well.

Regardless of what happens, about 6 billion years from now there won't be a single living thing in this solar system.

The scary part is that one day we will be able to do things that require MASSIVE amounts of energy thanks to the research at CERN. Things like creating Death Star sized lasers.

We were going to build a collider 3 times the size and with a collision power almost 4 times that of the one by CERN in Texas about a decade ago.

Just another FYI.

SERN as in Single Expansion Ramp Nozzle? Our version of a space ship engine?

or you mean
CERN? The European nuclear studies?

Because both actually could cause major problems.

I've also heard conspiracy theories that we're trying to create an actual stargate or have.

Yeah.

Basically it came down to funding the International Space Station or that. They chose that.

And in the post Cold war, boosting talking points of American scientific superiority lost its urgency.

Just to be clear, I didn't mean to be rude about all of this, but it was painfully clear (judging by this post) that you didn't understand the deal with 12/21/2012. We were just trying to help you but instead you wanted to argue.
